i tore my ACL 2 months ago, and had surgery on it roughly 15 days ago. i can pretty much walk normally, its all healed externally, but still cant do any stressful activities for another few months. it was an allograph (cadaver hamstring) FYI.

hows everyones injuries heallin up?

thats sweet that your able to walk,

i broke my tibia and fibula about 3 weeks ago, the day i broke it i had surgery on my tibia and got a rod and a few screws. Now today i have a doc appointment to get the staples removed, but i think ill be out until the beginning of june, it sucks

how bad did it hurt??? i always thought breaking ur tibia would be like the worst pain ever

i ended my season last year with a spiral fracture to the fibia (the smaller bone in your leg, not wieght bearing), and it fucking hurt. like with ligiments, they dont hurt unless you move, it was like a constant pulsing pain up around my leg for like a week. id have to imagine a full on fracture of the fibia would feel spectacular

Tore my MCL in November this year. got to ski by late January an dluckitly didnt get surgury, almost had to. I'm still skiing, just every so often the knee will start to hurt slighty. But s'all goood.

january broke my thumb then bout a month ago found out i had a blood clot but i can ski next year

broke my collar bone like 3 weeks ago.. its pretty much normal and i can move my arm fully but still weak i guess

Sprained my wrist in late December, finally healed late Feb. 3 weeks later I tweaked my shoulder, its about healed now, but I just sprained my thumb on Saturday. Fucking piece of shit 912ti heelpiece shattered when I hit a couple moguls at high speed. It wasn't so easy to ski after that and I bailed pretty good. Got a bunch of nice bruises to go with that one as well.

i was worried about that happening to me...i had a huge ass bump on my thumb that had dark purple color under the skin and i could tell it was full of blood. It took 2.5 weeks to go away and i never did anything about my thumb now it cracks and shit and have a lot more limited movement. Should of gone to the doctor but i wanted to ski in the comp the next day

I'm pretty broken up..... tendonitous in left shoulder, and a mild case in my right elbow, pulled groin and ham string, extremely sore back (broke it last year so its still weak), wrenched neck, and just sore all over.....

well i hurt my knee also- got er xrayed not fractured, didnt blow a ligiment they think i crushed my miniscis. this was all a couple of weeks ago, thought it was fine but i tweaked it and it hurts again. so not anything serious i guess.

Hahaha, gotta love PE injuries, I sprained the shit out of my finger playin dodgeball last year, couldnt bend it, got all puffy, the whole works, never told anybody, parents got really pissed when they saw it.

I got off free this year though, just some shin splints that needed some rest. Proly shoulda kept my mouth shut.

I broke the scaphoid bone in my wrist...just got surgery two fridays ago. I had a screw and a bone graft. Now I'm in a cast for 12 weeks. It sucks the D.

it hurt like a BITCH!!!! it was so bad it even made my friend throw up, it looked like i had a third knee right above where my boot ends, it was kinda gross. but i look on the bright side ,at least the bone didnt pop out of the skin :)

and yes that hurt, but my mommy kissed it and made it all better

i fucking hate my god damn mother ufcking thumb, its always hurt and it takes 6 god damn months to heal because its a gay mother fucker who likes to take it up the butt whole. it gets hurt when i land on my god dman feat, dont ask my how but it does, no matter what im doing it manages to get hurt. FUCK MY THUMB

yep just got the info from the doc...ankle's factured majorly in 2 places.

I'm on crutches for about 3 months and then I get a walking cast. fuck.

just over 2 monthes out of ACL surgery and doing pretty good i can go for light bike rides and stuff but wont be able to freeride saftley till mid summer

my ski boot ripped alot of the hair off my leg one day when i crashed.......not sure how tho

i found out today that i tore mine. i was so surprised though because im able to walk on it fine right now but i got my mri results today and they said that i tore it

snapped femur, titanium rod and screws put in my leg. check out the original mustache march thread for the carnage. or maybe ill post a link

^here we go

Mustache March ended on a hell of a note for me. I went to Colorado for spring break to hang with my friend and ski and I ended up breaking my femur and having to get rods and screws put in my leg. Superrr shitty. It hurt so bad too, my seasons over, but I didn’t let that shit ruin my mustache march. I didn’t bring my razor with me to Colorado but as soon as I got out of the hospital and back to boise, it was ON. Here are some pics of the last week.

first day trying to walk 4 or 5 days after surgery.

Here’s my first day back from the hospital

And now heres my different personas that I created while sitting around icing my leg and doing nothing all day. Keep in mind it was hard cause I couldn’t move.

^ That catfish is fucking awesome! I fractured my right heel in the beginning of February and have been walking without crutches for two weeks now. I need some new ski boots before I ski again, hopefully I can get at least one more ski day in before the seasons end. Don't ever fracture your heel! Had to ski down, walk through the parking lot, remove boot and then drive my manual transmission truck 40 miles home. At least it wasn't my clutch foot...

Broken collarbone and seperated shoulder in Feb/March. Collarbone is all good. Shoulder is a big pain in my butthole. Hurts like hell to bench press or do pushups. Feels like my colllarbone is trying to tear itself away from my shoulder girdle. Sucks because I think it is all healed up, I hope it doesn't feel like this for an extended period of time.

strained meniscus about a month ago, did a rail jam last week and it felt pretty good. just been riding the road bike a ton trying to get back to strength, hopefully i'll start to run on it next week

Dislocated and Fractured my hip on new years day (great start to the year) i cant ski until about august or so..hurt so much when i did it..

i badly bruised the AC muscle in my shoulder earlier this month, and i dont have to wear the sling anymore, but now i have to start ogin 2 4-6 weeks of physical therapy

i feel you. both of mine are like that to the pioint where id be writing and they would hurt. named them my skiier thumb disease from my poles.

also got 2 fucked up knees that have been getting worst, a pulled thigh muscle and frost burn, not as bad as frost bite, but still a bitch to take care of.

atleast it functions still? Im basically on the status of a monkey. My thumb has no tension in it so when i go to pick things up, my thumb just slides over. Its very very very frustrating. its my right one too. Its been like that for a year and a half now.

Besides that I hurt my MCL in early/mid april. start physical therapy tomorrow and have 6 weeks of it.

I was on the tramp with my brother and a friend, and we decided to do that 1, 2 ,3 bum drop thing, where you see who gets double bounced when you all land on your asses. Well we all jumped extremely high, and came down and stretched the surface down so far that i smashed my tailbone on the ground.... hurts to sit.

well i skied on an out of place hip for six months. then i fell off my trampoline today on it and that hurt like a mofo. so i think im gonna go get it checked out finnaly

I got off injury free. The worst that happened to me was a bruised forearm, which was good to go by the end of the day. I think the femur would be the most painful. I can't imagine what knid of force it would take to snap that fat a bone.
