How are the foils

I just did a review on a set that I demoed, do a search for "foiled".

i own a pair right now, the 05/06. i have to say that they don't really perform until you set them deep into a carve, and with the 1/2 soft tail they pop in and out of deep hard turns well, but lack a little when your not going a bit faster or on edge. i tested 6+ twin tips on wed in tahoe (elan ?, voikil dogen, 1080 thruster, dynastar trouble makers, 1080 foil, head mojo 90's) ( me 5'7" 135lbs 80% park)
i have to say with my style of riding, switch, rails, hits and some fast groomed runs, i would put the dynastars over the foils because the dynastars have a smaller side cut and responded to turns better over all, rode switch almost better than forward, have better swing when going off hits, pop out of shorter turns a bit better.
i would only go with the foils if you need a larger landing surface, like gs style turns, are in powder a bunch or are really into weight.
