How are 06/07 Rossi Scratch Fs-wrs out of the park

Im mostly a park skier but like to get outa the park on some days as well. I was wondering how good they are on groomers and on the hardpack which we have plenty of here in aus.

i've got dynastar troublemakers both this years (06/7) and next yrs (07/8). the troublemakers do all mountain & park great, a bit heavy, but good.

imm not sure bout scratch fs i like the look of them but from what i've heard, i'll probably get the jon olssons next yr

the scratch fs wrs...is pro outside the park...in my opinion they are one of the best park/alll mountain combo....besides ar6's

Very solid. The flex stiffens up a lil all mt and there deffinately fun to play around on. They feel at home almost everywhere i take them.

I can't see how you found the TMs a bit heavy. They seemed just as light as the next pair of skis for me.

I haven't mounted my scratches yet so I can't really compare the weight as I don't remember. Scratches definitely kill it outside the park, I've skied the 05/06 and they're perfect.

yeah i prolly found them a bit heavy cause i just went from 150's to 165's...

whats the diff. between scratch fs-wrs and scratch sprayer? is the fs-wrs better i might get it apparently the JO Pro's are flimsy... light but flimsy.

fs wrs means it has the weight reduction system in them. The sprayers I believe are like the 05-06 scratch, so just like a pound heavier or so. Definitely go with the wrs... the ski kills

No no, sprayer is the cheaper version of the scratches. (I'm pretty sure)

The sprayer was like $50 cheaper then the scratch FS was in 05/06. Maybe a bit more cheaper, I can't really remember. I think its lighter, but less durable.

WRS are lighter than the 05/06.

I have 165 05/06 TMs, way too short on me, but honestly far as I recall I have a feeling they weigh just as much as my 182 scratch wrs, maybe a bit less.

^^^^ exactly, i'm not the only one who finds them a bit heavy.

i like the look of the JO pro model, bu isnt its sidecut like 23m? thats craazzy stuppid. apparently its flimsy too, i imagine prolly cause of the holllow glass technology or whatever they've put in this year to make it light.

i'll prolly get 06/07 scratch fs wrs... they look dope (imo) and i'm an all mountain skier too... sounds like they can tear it up outside the park too. i'll prolly keep my TMs for rails and sht, maybe some urban.

if you're like skiing rossi 180cms and finding the TMs as heavy as them (and the TMs are too small) then imagine me, 14y/o and i'm only like 170cm tall riding 165s... the TMs are solid though...

alright, so we agree. the wrs is ligher than last years scratches by about a pound per pair. the sprayer this year is a cheaper scratch. this year, since they implimented the wrs tech on their top line scratch, the sprayer is simplythe technology of last years scratches. SO... this years scratch sprayer weighs the same as the old scratch fs, while the wrs is substantially lighter than both.

sick outside the park. they rip groomers and are fun in trees and shallow pow. even deeper pow if you're a little guy. i've got a very very new pair available for very cheap if you're interested.

hows the versatiliy? sidecut is around 22m... quite long in my opinion, bubt stable at high speeds i guess.

i'll either get the scratch fs-wrs or fischer addict pros. maybe JO's but not from what i've heard about them

they turn pretty damn well for me. but then again, i'm used to msps and ants. you don't want them to be too turny, then they'd suck in the park. they seem to have a good balance.

i'll prolly give 'em a shot.

they sound good, and great price this time of year for last seasons model... cheapest i can find so far is $319 ski only @ evogear.

i'm all mountain skier as well as newschool so its ability outside the park will be useful for me, as well as in the park. it sounds pretty sick... now i have to find a pair lol. what annoys me is how all the good online shops are in america, shippng to canada will cost a bomb, plus the f***ing customs charge.

do companies still stock last seasons models? I might ask my local ski shop to order in last seasons fs-wrs is its possible.
