my IR prof brought up an interesting point today.right now we have names for sports teams like tampa bay bucaneers or pittsburgh pirates. if you told someone like thomas jefferson that in about 200 years, we will have teams named like that, he would flip shit right? because real life piracy was a serious issue back then. what if in the not so distant future, we have team names like albuquerque al qaedas or houston hezbollahs?
