a few of my friends have it upgraded, i dont yet. But its ok, cause with Gmail i have 1000mb of free space.

gmail is the best for sure, but yahoo's been puting out 100mb for more than a year. Why use hotmail? t's by far the worst of all the free services.

Hotmail freaked out when Gmail introduced the 1000 M accounts and so they are trying to keep from losing all of their users. They tried blocking the Gmail invites as well. Gmail blows hotmail out of the water. It takes Microsoft 3 years to finally upgrade from 1.5 M of storage and they only did it b/c of Gmail.

Sweet, I just my 250 MB upgrade. I understand that nobody cares, but it was a moment of unbridled euphoria in an otherwise dull day.

 
gmails actualy probably the worst of the bunch right now. All three have enough space for most ppl. the thing that makes gmail bad is that it dosent accept .EXE or .ZIP becuase they might have viruses. Yahoo and Msn both have virus scans built in so they dont need to block formats that can carry viruses.

Also gmail wont send or ACCEPT over 10Megs of attachments.

I havent played around with the new MSN but the site says that its limited to 10 megs. I dont know if thats only for composing or also for incoming.

With Yahoo i sent a 25 meg file to my self and it worked (even thaough they say that the limit was supposed to be 20 megs). I also sent this to my Gmail and it bounced.

Of Course it ends up comming to what you need.

Personaly i need to send large files to my self ALL the time so Yahoo is the best for me.

If you just want to send e-mails and recieve emails that dont have large attachments you might just want to stay with Hotmail since its a pain to tell all your contacts.

Gmail is good if you want a more personalized user name because there are less usernames already taken. Also, Google will most likely fix the attachment problem in the official release.
