Ok. I think that it is fucked up that American's are so concerned with terrorism and "fighting tyranny" when Africa is so fucked up. 1 million people were killed in Rwanda in 1994 because of a war fought between two arbitrary categories of Rwandans. Similar ethnic battles are happening now in the Sudan and nobody cares in the Western world.

 
That movie was amazing, first read Romeo Dallaire's book called Shake Hands With The Devil, its the conflict in Rwanda written by the Canadian who was in charge of UNAMIR, the UN really screwed him over....

i saw it high with my mom (she wasnt high) and it was the one of the most intense things ive experienced. the whole time she was suspicious of me, and there was surround sound of the africans screaming and gunshots going off and it was pitch dark. it was crazy

but yea that movies crazy. if you like the kinda of movies that really fuck youre mind up like that get Bus 174.

amazing shots in that movie, extremely compelling. makes you angry at the world. anyways check it out. Its about Brazil and this guy from the favelas who held a bus hostage for a long time. crazy movie, plus it has actual footage. watch it.

A LESSON FROM A HARDCORE SMOKER:

if your really hardcore you can just smoke out of your hands. make a loose fist but keep your fingers together and pack the entire empty space in the middle with herb. then open up your pinky finger enough so that the herb doesnt fall out but you can light it. then just breath in from the top hole and ull get mad respect -eastar5
 
its by far one of the best movies ive ever seen. great acting and shit. also, the story is amazing. its one of the most accurate accounts of the event even though it is so horrible. definately something that should get more attention

^thats ridiculous man...you should like it because its a great movie.

i saw that a while back at a film festival screening and then i rented it with friends a few weeks back...this film is quite accurate (except for the portrayal of romeo dallaire, who was not an alcoholic at all) and is really quite good.
