minus the hot, sweaty, and replace sex with the act of fertalizing eggs not through sexual intercourse.

My brother picked up 5 fish (and one shark thats pretty baller) for his fish tank the other day of what he thought were all males. Anyways he's feeding them today and there are 2 TINY ass fish swimming around. Hahaha i couldn't believe it. I thought his shark was going to mistake them for food and just eat them. hahha . And there was no way they were there when he first bought the origional ones.\

Is it known to have reproduction with small fishes in a fish tank? I didn't think so.

you dont have to worry about the shark eating the fish, the shark will really just try to eat the food given because its easier, like we used to feed our shark live fresh water fish, and right away in the salt water the fish started to die, and the shark picked up on that and ate them, so aslong as they are not sick/dieing you should be good

hahaha yeah baby sharks. try feeding them sea monkeys, the little dynasoar looking things. that would be cool.

i originally started with 10 guppie fishes, and now their just on a mad romping rampage and multiply every 2 weeks. i dont think there has been a time over hte past 2 years where there have been no fish cause they just keeping sending out new ones

we used to have guppies in our bathroom in a little fishtank, and periodically we would find tiny weeny guppies swimming around and sometimes the parents would eat them, so we had to take them out of the tank and put them in another one for like a week

Mmmmm incest. I bet all of those fish are blind, mutated, or deaf.

Or can fish safely have babies with their siblings/offspring?

i used to have some fuckin BALLIN fish too. i had 2 angel fish, a sucker fish, and one more that noone liked. so anyways after a year i was like fuck you fish i dont like you im not feeding you cause i watn you to die. i forgot about them for a while, come back at least a month later, and the one angel fish was still alive, he was as big as the tank(not that big) and all the other fish were gone. well that angel fish decided to go hanibal lector on all the others, no more fishys

2 years? I have 3 tanks at home, and in my 80 gallon tank in the basement I've had the same fish for the past 13 years. I had one that was older than me (16) that died a few months ago. And they've never once re-produced.

But ya normally it is normal for fish to reproduce if they're somewhat the same type. If in fact the fish did fuck, and it wasn't just a pregnant one to begin with, you may find yourself with a lot more fish than you bought.

They would be baby sharks. Sharks are raised inside them selves and give live birth. Fish lay eggs and it would take quite a while for this to happen, and is unlikely in a filtered tank.

Ok , since I had a couple fish tanks trough my life I do know a bit. It IS possible and even prety common to have fish lay eggs and breed in a freshwater tank. If the conditions are good and the inhabitants well chosen, the fish are more than likely to reproduce. The tricky part now is to raise the fry. Usualy, the eggs hatch but the fry is so small it's almost impossible to feed it. There is also the danger of the baby fish getting caught un the filters and things like this. That's why breeders use small, seperate tanks to raise the fry for about 2-4 months. They most likely feed on zooplancton and phytoplancton (algea) and thus its hard to find natural food sources.

Ok thats enough, more than what you asked, but if any of you guys have questions I could probably awnser them...

yea honestly "BALLIN" is the worst way to define anything, especially sharks, because they really have nothing to do with basketball
