and its nice to see at least a few people realizing that those who brought up the fact that it was still around were pretty much directly responsible for it being taken down.
 
i feel that this is partially my fault since i was the one who brought it up first in the Lat banned thread. ohwell.

man.. im dissapointed. I barely every looked at the hot girl t hread, but it was just a benchmark of NS. It would be like knocking down teh washington monument in DC. Maybe you don't remember, but the hotgirl thread was hidden for a while.. so come on mods. Don't take away a piece of NS history.
 
it sucks seeing anything get "censored" and if i had it my way id do things way differently but i dont have it my way.. so until i cant say the word "gina" anymore im gona keep coming... and once censorship gets that bad then a brother site will devople any people will slowly cross over

in all honesty, this is a skiing site, if you want hot chjicks use google or go buy some porn. granted its been something that i have looked at for the last 3 yrs religously, but still.

there should be a new one started with strict rules about nudity or something, because that thread was a classic. but i do agree that it seemed very rediculous for lat to get banned because of animated nudity, when there was 160+pages of real nipples to browse through

You're my boy Kyle but you kinda just contradicted yourself. First you say Lat shoulda got banned then you accuse mods of being too conservative?

Too bad 58% of the people on this site are under 18. TGR forums isn't even moderated at all and they are a totally slef-regulated society.

I was saying the mods are too conservative because they deleted the hot girl thread and were calling it 'porn'.

There is definitely a no nudity rule that was broken. I loved reading lats stuff. He was always good for a laugh.

My line of thinking was based on the huge difference between actual porn (cartoon or not) and hotties in skimpy outfits.

this is gay, when harvey used to run this site it was cool but now, its just gay, i met harvey and he made this site..Thats right from his own bare hands and the help of a keyboard. And i know he would want the hot girl thread back!!!
 
but he still has mod powers therefore he could access the deleted threads forum and bring back the hot girl thread... but he clearly does not want to
 
I hate it when old shit like this gets revived, but whatever.

Think about it. Mods are normal human beings. They did have to delete a bit of porn out of that thread, and they had to watch it constantly to make sure more wanst posted. Mods dont have any super powers that let them moderate while skiing or doing something else, and I'm sure they have better things to do than delete porn. hence, they elimiated the source and made their lives easir. Shit I feel sorry for mods, look at how much shit they have to clean up.
 
so did anybody else see the mets-red sox game yesterday? it was a doozie. this is the most pointless shit i have ever read. props to everyone for arguing, because it's great to support a cause you believe in, but you lost. even more props to the people who run this place because they just keep shutting everyone else down. basically a "yeah, so what. whatcha gonna do about it?" situation. wielding power with an authoritative and unforgiving hand. i respect that.

dude...i think if people are soo offened, then don't look. It is the internet, there is soo much shit out there, but people still choose what they want to look at. If you don't like it, then leave. DON'T TAKE THIS SERIOUSLY.

No matter how many people you offend there will still be tons of kids going to this site, and tons of kids joining. Just use you mind man, you can see what is stupid bullshit, and what is good.
