and i'll tell you why. Everyone made it clear that it was rediculous that Lat was banned for an icon, but 160+ pages of pr0n got to stay. Well, you convinced us.
 
this is going to be huge to a lot of people, but stand strong with it. I think it will make the site a lot healthier for the younger crowd.

This site is turning in to the ski site of the GOP.

Porn is one thing but women in bathing suits or similar clothing is not porn.

As for Lat being banned I didn't see his Icon but if it was of a naked boob (cartoon or not) he deserved to be banned. If it wasn't naked then the mods fucked up (big suprise right?).

What happened to being able to express yourself and say or post what you want to say or post? As long as it's not hate speech or racist what's the problem?

There is quite a bit of grey area on this site. Mods do what they want with little or no explination or justification.

If you guys are worried about the youngins seeing racy stuff on this site you're fighting a loosing battle. Welcome to the internet. I know you don't have to promote or condone threads like the 'hot girl thread' but lay off your extreme right principles for a minute and ask yourslef who exactly is this stuff hurting. Chances are it's not hurting anyone.

As far as restrictions and rules are concerned put something in black and white. Poste it, make it a sticky do something. Be more consistand with how you handle sensitive situations.

You guys (mods) get a lot of crap not because you do your job but you do it so inconsistantly and with out explination people start wondering and talking about it.

oh there was plenty of explination...and since most people are not reading some of the posts to understand why....then they should not be posting stuff that they are unaware of.
 
yeah there was an explanation when it came to banning lat. That's one example. There are a ton of threads and posts that are deleted with out justification though.

There was very little pr0n (what ever that is) posted in that thread and waht was posted was usually deleted pretty quickly.

Lat was banned because he challanged some mod with an inferority complex. The thread was deleted for no good reason other than to show the users of this site who's still boss. Way to throw arround your weight.
 
i thought that it was clearly outlined when you signed up, no nudity, no profanity etc. etc....and if people don't like what this site is supposed to be, they don't have to come here.....we are a skiing website...not a porno site, as for the hot girl thread....i guess they were trying to make a point...and i hope you can figure out why...

You are using a service.

We have the right to delete any content we wish at our discreation if WE feel it is offensive in anyway. If you don't beleive me read the disclaimer you agreed to when you signed up.

Some people are more forgiving then others, and let stuff slide, and we will somtimes give justfications for our actions, but if we told you everything we deleted and why...we would never get anything accomplished, and there would be so much crap on here it would smell.

As far as the hot girl thread goes... i like hot girls, i used to view that thread.. the line was crossed a few times..and now it's gone :(.

Such is life.. but all those images are already on the internet. All you gotta do is go to goggle images turn the filter off and search "hot girls" and whammy. Or go to your local corner store and pick up a issue of Maxuim or anything mag with a hot chick on the cover. Don't worry. You'll survive.
 
I never checked that thread, Maybe if it was the Hot naked chick thread i would have. Too much clicking and dragging for clothed chicks

i agree, sarah is really smoking hot. It just looked like they did a little too much airbrushing to her in some of the pictures (yes, a couple of the more natural ones were smoking hot)
 
ya, and i didn't really like her smile, too fake, and thats a shame because she has a smile that lights up a room!

thats soo shitty i made a "hot girl thread" but i posted a picture of an jap girl with a penis and it got banned cause people took me for serious and that i was copying that thread. but overall thats gay

haha you try and do that and it doesnt work, that sucks.

i really dont care if it is gone because i never went in there. the members of ns brought this on themselves by saying things about how lat is gone but it is still here, so they have noone to blame but themselves
