This is the greatest ski "movie" ever. If you think Aspen Extreme is better, you're opinion is wrong, scientifically.

Hot Dog follows the typical formula for an 80s teen sex comedy set in a ski town. Some dude (Harkin Banks) moves to a ski town. He's a good skier and meets some outcast party dudes. They shred the gnar, get in fights with the ski patrol/ski hill owners/rich dudes, they bang some bodacious mountain babes (best believe there are some awesome titties), and they party their faces off. There are good times in the beginning, then bad times, and then good times again. There are tits, beer, and skiing throughout. It's fucking awesome.

I lived in a party house in Banff Alberta a few years ago. Yeah, the Deer Street party house. I lived with 4 snowboarders and they loved this movie. We'd play it all the time.

After I saw this movie, I knew I'd be skiing for the rest of my life... 28 years later, mission accomplished.
 
I used to rent this movie at 12 year old for the 80's boobs. Then also for the radical skiing. Ski School was a close second to this

Great movie, well worth the watch, and ballerina should be brought into the x games, extreme badasses right there
 
Best part by far, may have to rewatch just for this.

Need to watch this soon. Highly doubt it will top Aspen Extreme for me though. How can you beat what is known as "Top Gun On The Ski Slopes"?

I can assure you there are more pairs of tits and tits are on screen for a longer time in Hot Dog than in Aspen Extreme.

It would make sense that the majority of NS prefer Hot Dog, what with park skiing just being the ski ballet of its time... And Doug Coombs did all the stunt skiing for Aspen Extreme...
 
Just finished watching it, great movie haha Right before all the triples I was yelling at my laptop "SEND IT HENNY"
 
The best part about Ski School is the fact that it is set in Whistler and the competition is called the Labatt's Ski Pageant.

The worst part is the fact that the protagonist (Dave) looks like he is a greasy dude in his 40s trying to pick up babes in their 20s. I've got no empathy for that shit. Oh, and the lines are cringe inducing at times. Don't even bother trying to watch the second one. Holy Shit.

In a week or so, I'll start a torrent with Ski School and Ski School 2 if you guys want. Or, if someone knows where I can host it, I can upload them somewhere.

One of my favorite movies of all time.It's pretty much the theme movie for my college's ski team, we drive about 14 hours to Vermont every year and play it on loop the entire drive.

This has prompted me to order the DVD, I'm about to have a Hot Dog viewing party upon it's arrival.
 
SERIOUS DISCUSSION: Is Harkin Banks a hipster? Is he going through an existential crisis where he experiences escapism through skiing, parting and awesome tits?
 
IMPORTANT POINT: If any east coast kid is wondering what it feels like to move out west, yup. It feels exactly like that.
 
No. He's just a kid that went to the circus for the first time and had no fucking idea what he was in for.
 
2 cents since I just saw the Revelstoke park thread, for the record most of the lines in North Bowl at Revy are named from this movie. Eg. Hot Dog, All zee way around, Rudy's, etc. Not officially named, just ask patrol.
