k so i move into my new house less than a month.and of course i am hosting parties.what are some bumpin songs that i can bump for a hella good time?i search bared this and could only find songs listening to while skiing...and sheee like that.
 
hmm, well it depends on your group of friends but assuming that not all of them are hardcore underground respecting conscious music listeners like most of us, you are going to have to play some mainstream-ish type music. and you want the girls to start bumpin and grindin for sure.

i cant stress enough though you gotta feel the mood and assess the people there before you play a certain song or type of music. i LOVE reggae, but at my type of parties if i played any of my favorite reggae people would croak. so the songs i mention are catchy, old school enough, mad street cred, , and all the ladies love em.

i hate being dj at parties because of all the dumb requests i get...

well i only kinda agree. it depends on when you want to play songs. when the girls start doing something else in another room, and the homies are all playing pong or something or fire up a toke, then this song will hit the vibe perfectly. i think in terms of house parties though where everyone who is there is my friend, not a blow out housewarmer.
 
the thing with the ladies is...that they only really like mainsteam shit. like akon, lil wayne, all the stuff that is played on the radio. ya dig? i'll put money down that most girls have never herd of wu tang, biggie, that type of music. but if you ask a girl about tu pac. she most likely say oh yeah i love pac. but in reality, doenst know more than 5 of his songs. ya dig that?

I have partied every weekend anymore, and i put on XM's The Heat and Sirius's Shade 45. If you have satelitte radio, i suggest the The Heat for the bitches and Shade 45 for some good rap but also Bitch music.
 
in my house at college, ii always wished we had an old-school imacin the main room hooked up to all the speakers. so much easier to browse for songs. and harder to steal than an ipod.

your popular mtv songs will be the best things to play. drunk people dont want to explore new music, then want familiar music to sing to.
