Would it be worth it to trek up there during the winter? Im goin there in dec. and thought that might hold powder longer. If I sound like an idiot its because Ive only skied Whistler in the sumer and never really a big mountain.

Um....dude the Horstman Glacier is accessible in the winter...no need to hike shit at all. Just buy a lift ticket and you are there.....did I miss somehting?

Well a good easy run to start off on would be Pacololo(sp?) hehe. As for fun....what cypress said about sums it up.

nope. the glacier is pretty flat, hike spankys latter, it gives you access to like 10 crazy lines/bowls....it is so much better than the glacier. lates
