Horrible news...

It seems unusual that there should be 2 car related accidents so close together. I'm speaking, of course, about Riley Poor. I haven't heard of any high-profile athlete deaths while skiing since the ski community lost Billy Poole last year. It is good to see how much feedback this thread is getting, people that don't know Travis (like myself), but can still connect to this tragedy.
 
that was hard to read. +++vibes to his family and close friends. I've also had a friend die as a victim of a hit and run and the man was DUI. she was only 11 though. RIP bro
 
horrible.. right before his bday too.. i had a friend who died 2 years ago the night before her bday too. RIP travis

there aren't many people out there like travis. it's a shame his time ran out so soon. he could've done great things.
 
i had never meet or heard of Travis before today but was truly saddened to hear the news of this tragedy. He sounded like a amazing person and skier. i hope justice is served to the murderer who brought about this tragedy upon us and send my condolences to his family and friends.

Why not? I mean if everyone seems to agree it was on par with pro segments, why not include in the armada team edit (if they make one, kind of like Atomic's "44 days"). Maybe edited a bit more, but what an amazing memorial that would be.
 
from that promo kid looked like future and just generally a fun person. incredibly sad, condolences to family and friends, rip.
 
rest in peace. after reading the article about him, all I can really say is that it's terrible and I'm sure he will be missed by many.
 
this is horrible news. I have never met travis but from seeing his videos and reading about him I feel like I have lost a friend. The ski community definitely has lost someone special. My thoughts go out to his family and friends.
