Horrible boot smell remedies

ok my boots smell terrible. like ballsack terrible. currently i keep them in a plastic box with the lid on in my dorm room. but the smell is so terrible it still leaks out a bit. ive tried febreeze, lysol, everything. wtf can i do?

try arm and hammer, mine smelt horrible so put some of that in there and bought some deodorant balls for shoes and launched those in as well, and kept them in there for a about 2 weeks and it worked pretty well

either a charcoal bag from a fish tank filter or baking soda an a porous bag (that obviously wont leak all over)
