I just got an email back from Conan thaning me for it too.
Ok, so I was in Peru visiting my great uncle, and he has a pet sloth named Kato. Sloths are my favorite of all the animals. One day, we went to the coast and he brought Kato along as well. We were touring the seas in our boat, and went out swimming. Kato, being a sloth, is naturally a good swimmer, so we let him paddle around the boat with us for a while too.
After about 20 minutes of swimming around and enjoying the weekend, we see Manatees swimming near us. Naturally startled, my mom, brother, and I quickly swam to the ladder and jumped back into the boat. Kato however, was unaware of the manatees approaching. When they came and passed, Kato turned around only to see a ginormous 400 lb. Manitee (probably horny) floating upright in the water, staring at him.
Now sloths are known to be the slowest of all mammals, but I tell you, I have never seen a sloth scared so much in my life. He bolted to the ladder and got back into the boat, whilst keeping his slothy stature, of course. Sometimes I worry about Kato.

PS: you guys should totally have a hungry sloth on your show! Kato thinks so too!
