Pretty sure its called Dead Lunging not shuffling. Reason being: you land sideways and are too far forward or cant revert back, you fall on your side and wind the hell out of yourself ergo: dead lung.
At least thats what im going to call them.

Its called a revert. It always has been called a revert. i have no idea where this "shuffle" term came from but its stupid

shuffles are way snappier than reverts. reverts sound like a mistake or a washout, but shuffles are fully intentional and quicker, done (if right) almost right on contact when you hit the snow.

well it looks awful when people land then do it. or when people do it multiple times like dane tudor or leigh powis. Like land revert to switch and go back again to forward. and when matt walker does them sometimes he sprays snow and that looks retarded, looks like hes stopping. But, I am being very critical

Except those skaters arent riding the same park as the ones competing in it. It's much more creative to go find your own jumps/jibs/features/stair sets/interpretations outside of the park, and thats why skating is rad and wont get stale, or snowboarding for that matter.

the idea is not to land sideways, you land one way, and shuffle around and go the other way.

Realizing you won't bring your trick around, land sideways then revert to either switch or forward. Some people will even goes as far as tricking you into thinking they are going to either switch or regular and then revert again to the opposite.
