Hoping for a trade, get a deal.

I had a horrible realization last season. I am not stellar at park skiing. This season I hope to shift my view towards backcountry skiing, and, accordingly, I am in need of some more back-country oriented skis. To be specific, I'd like to trade for some wider, stiffer skis more in tune with back-country skiing.

I have the 05 K2 Fujative 179 cm mounted with Rossingol Axial Carbon Pro (swivel heel!) DIN 3-11 bindings, @ +7.5. These skis are in top notch condition, only ridden a few times, they have summer wax sitting on them. Since they have nice binders, I'd like to get around 250 dollars for these practically new skis.

I've also got the 04 K2 Public Enemy 179 mounted with Marker Titanium 1200 Freeride DIN 3-12 bindings, @ +5 cm. These skis have about 30 trips on them, and are not looking as nice as they originally did. The topsheet is a bit battered, and there are some scrapes (not huge) in the PTEX, but they are still great skis. Looking to get about 180 dollars for these skis.

My prices do not include shipping. I am located in the Boulder, CO area.

Of course, the ideal situation would be to trade for a bigger ski. You could have both pairs of planks for any of last years fat skis. K2 Seth Pistol, Armada ARV, any Line Prophet, Volkl Gotama, possibly some Mo-Ships.

The fujatives are in great shape (they were mine at one point) and have only been used 5 times for night skiing at Brighton last season.

I have some brand new in-the-plastic 05 ARV's, size 185.

But unfortunately I'm looking for AR5's.

If you can somehow get rid of both those skis for new or like-new AR5's, you have a deal.
 
Alright...the BASE of the ski has a few scratches in it. I will try to take a better picture tonight...but I can't host 5 megapixel files. If you want a better look at the bases and stuff, I will send you a 2560x1920 pixel picture via email.

just curious while looking at your picture of your quiver....why do you want antoher fat ski. it seems like you got a sick setup right now. fujis and publics for most everything, and madens for pow.....

AKFREERIDE, I'm big. I'm like 6'5". PEs were sickkkk when I was 5'10"...but now I am a giant, and I need skis that fit accordingly.

Plus, you should get on some Made'ns some time. They are really a versatile ski. They are butttery soft, I know kids that ski park with them, and of course they are amazing on the pow. They are supreme for BC booters. I just bought these Made'ns over the summer...but I demoed them last year.

They are rad planks, but I need something stiff, too. The Public Enemies used to do that for me, but now they are just too small. Armada ANTs are calling my name, my legs are already burning. :)
 
seconded. not just because vicious, seanpistol, and myself are so hot right now......

but they would fit well into what your looking for. the 189 SV will be more versatile than the ANT (even though the ANT sounds more tempting every single day). The 189 would be a good everyday ski, capable everywhere, and the 189 Made'n for pow. There is your quiver.

and, as said above, you will be able to join to cool "vicious, seanpistol, iggyskier are better than everyone else club." Sounds fun, doesn't it?
 
They're tempting. I'm still in the market....my skis haven't sold yet :-)

Which brings me back to the topic. Buy my skis. :D

I won't lie, I've always had a thing for elitist cults.

Shit...dry cleaners over starched my white robe again....

Ha kidding. The Seth Vicious is a sick ski, but I need to demo it first. It's all in the air, I'm talking to Armada reps about getting on some ANTs, we'll see how it pans out.
 
Damn, i would have traded you in a second for the fujis, I had MSPs but already sold them.
 
for some reason sean pistol is such a pimp nobody really know why! maybe its tho so cal sluts hes always bringin home!
 
just so you know.....thecarguy is about 6'5", if not taller.

I felt like a midget around him.

a line 172 is pretty tiny.
