Hey guys,

The tradition returns. For those of you who dont know what this is, we've been doing this fundraiser/awareness/general good time for two years now. You get to ski for 24 hours (or longer if you go the next day), sleep in your wet ski gear under a table on a hard lodge floor because you forgot camping gear, straightline silly things in the dark and just have a great time. First year was blower pow for a full 24 hours to beautiful untracked bluebird backside opening, last year was groomer and gooberfest - whatever the conditions its always a blast.

Team Wrock3tships is kinda a tradition I guess, started with a bunch of the ON3P guys and grew a ton last year when we brought it back. I want to go bigger - open invitation to all here. We've got some time to start planning and getting donations, but its time to start thinkin about it. This is a charity fundraiser, no drunken brawl, if you do get wasted off PBR and Wild Turkey/Jack D man shots at least try to convince your boss to donate to a good cause.

Theres a ton of registration stuff once the lifts start spinning, so we'll try to meet up as a team later that day once everythings settled down a bit. I am already thinking of making some limited ON3P jerseys for people who can get a set amount donated, but no promises until I get them made.

We've covered the cost for the first team, probably will cost $10 to join for the next team so we can cover the registration cost. Small price to pay for a huge day of skiing and fun.

Also have it in mind to do a tribute for Wil that afternoon and nail up a ski above a good sidecountry run.

Hope you guys can make it and hope we can get some money raised between now and then! Ask your parents, your siblings, your friends, your boss and your coworkers - its super easy for them to donate. And we'll be at Ski Bowl the week after as a event sponsor, will make a post about that in the OR regionals soon, check it if interested, and we have couches for people to crash on if you want to make the trip.

Big ups to "cobra commander" aka corporal william j russel the third for putting up the $150 team fee. A lot of money to kill cancer. Any chance we can ski for Will? I realize it wasnt cancer but I wont be able to get him off my mind the day of. Oh fuck im crying...~
 
I hope you don't have to be on ON3PS because I signed up. :) I will make a plethora of all foods/baked goods for anyone on the team. And a big thanks to cobra commander.
 
HOTS is too much fun. Already on a team, but I'd be more than happy to redshirt with Team Wrock3tships.
 
Nicholas Skinner sighting on the team list. This should be fun. Bring charles we have some staring contests to catch up on~
 
Any way, we have a fair amount of plans for remembering Wil, and honoring his memory. As allways this team will be more focused on having fun, and good skiing then racking up vertical. That said, drink some no-xplode or something because we won't be stopping. Again sleeping is not authorized, unless it's done on the chair lift, or while skiing. Also Rowen and I would like it if everyone can find $50 to donate. We understand that times are tough, but April 15th is not that far away, and you can deduct that shit. Thanks -Cobra
 
So this got even more intense - we're going to be driving from Jackson to Seattle on the 4th, skipping the last day to be there. Should be a fun drive. On the plus sides, we'll have a demo fleet for our team.

I remember the first year, I was on your team and was really awkward cause i was only 15. It was amazing. wake up at 4 get laps down chief all morning then hit the backside for an epic day. those days need to comeback.
 
Two things to add:

Team Wrock3tships was originally the name of Wil and I's Big Mtn Battle team. As such, think of something you can do in his memory, and make it happen. Create a smile, help someone, or just work extra hard at getting donations.

Also, we need at least one Saucerboy present. I'm working on a costume, but I'd love some other representatives.
 
Well I dont see quit team anywhere and I dont remember being able to remove people as team leader. Maybe things have changed though. Is the team limit still 15? Anyways I imagine if you had 5 or so days prior notice you could email the webmaster and get yourself removed from the team if nothing else~
 
Keep in mind there are some other teams running, im sure you could get on one of those. You can also just pay/donate $30 and ride solo. I did that the first 2 times~
 
Team is now full. Also thanks to who donated the $20. You can also donate under your own name. This helps us track where the money is coming from, which helps us decide who is setting the bootpack!

Wow my karma is all the way up at 2.62/10 too. This is pretty bad. I need to free up some time for trolling~
