We almost came to the comp @ snowtrails but we got snowed in up here with our bus. We are bringing alot of prizes again this year to Hoot
 
Any more details? And Mark, and the rest of you SnowTrails people..... maybe if some of us from down here go we should carpool or something.
 
Details, we limited the comp this year only 12 Artisan (pro) skier and 12 Artisan boarders. The Progressor and Mini Max class also got limited to a certain number of enterants. Some of the spots are already taken by preregistration.
 
thats stupid. why limit it, especially to such a low number. if you have more people you dont need to charge so much money.
 
Lame. only 12 people. thats hardly a contest..... especially when it will prolly be all filled up with locals. not cool.
 
Not a limit to twelve total. twelve skier pros going for strictly cash only. And the preregistration allows anyone from any where to reserve the spots. Any one else has to drop into the next class lower for some cash and prize payout.
 
if i were to go i'd wanna be in the highest division, for the most money. is there a link to the contest page/waiver stuff/details.
 
do your best we have a media outlet this year she is hoping to take the story national and expose the freeride scene in the midwest. which will bring more money to you in the form of sponsorships and allowing us to finally do Hoot the way we want to.

So, sorry for the questions, but i'm retarded. How many spots are left in the Artisan division? And is this contest worth an 8 hour drive or so? Could someone provide some lodging, or are there any big after parties?
 
Oh, and is the artisan class worth it? Who is this KDay guy. I dunno if i should do that division or Progressor.
 
Well, if the progressor is easy cash, that's stupid.... because it would be "easy" as you said. i need a travel partner.
 
If you go mullet_skum, you should do artisan, youre at that level. See you there.

Artisan = Cash prizes (Last year to all finalists)

Progressor = Products + Cash (last year a pair of skis)

Mini Max = Products
