yeah whistler is sick and im sure its a ton better than any east coast mountain but the last time i checked 4 feet is more than 2, plus more is on the way

the funny thing is that in 20 or 30 years, global extremes (aka global warming) will cause the ocean currents to shift creating colder, snowier north eastern winters, and warmer, dryer rocky mountain winters. so i say, fuck the ozone, i wanna ski some pow.

4 feet is about 120 cm.

Actually, global warming isn't good for the east. It will affect snow of ski areas close to sea level. There will be less snowfall and more rain throughout the winter. For mountains out west which start far above sea level, it won't affect them too much.

cj, not a single person on the east coast gives a shit. It's no surprise that the West has better skiing.

God forbid we get excited about getting some snow, shame on us all.

yeah but im thinkin mountains/hills/bumps like hunter and windham, and areas like mt.snow and statton that are farther south might recieve more snow. im not really sure though because it hasnt happened. all of this is speculation by scientists.
