Hood Crew Callout

Same time kids started to hit rails before they could make it down a blue square. This new generation of skiers that is being raised in the park is killing skiing. Prime example, Clark~G.
 
Wow I was hoping this kid was actually good to see a real challenge. He hucked the hell out of both tricks with no style and back seated both, which to me is hardly landing a trick.

Hood crew has style and that shitty cell phone edit made this thread disappointing.
 
killing skiing?? thoroughly confused, i still enjoy as do many others I would say. Do you no longer have fun because they ski park before learning how to turn? Not that I agree by any means i think it's ridiculous kids hit rails and straight line to park every time because carving is not essential they think. But no way man it's not killing anything but the lips of the jumps.
 
this. clark G has some balls, and im entertained.to be fair those jumps are small. still awaiting an edit, but i find this very funny
 
its not taking anything away from the group of people who know how to ski, I still have fun, but if more are more kids just learn to slide rails and not carve turns then the sports gonna take a major decline in my eyes. I dont know, I hope I'm wrong, It just pisses me off.
 
I wouldn't worry. All of the people I know that cannot actually ski hit a point in the park where they cannot get any better whether it be from a style stand point or what tricks they can do. Sure there will always be those comp skiers that just Huck dubs and go straight but there will always be dope as flim skiers who are holding it down
 
well first off clark g most of the guys who film for the edits/movies dont even ski hood at the moment. They have all moved to colorado, utah, cali.

and secondly they probably dont have to time to deal with some kid in highschool. I hardly even see any of them throughout the year now that we have all moved apart.
 
just read 10 pages of hype and hate. was hoping when i ended at page 10 i would see this edit... facepalm. put up the damn edit dude, whats the worst that could happen? people make fun of you? it seems that's already happening.

Yeah I've always wondered that.. THC is only at Hood for like maybe part of April, and May. Then during the summertime of course but hardly ever during the actual season.

I've always thought of "hood" just as ignant skiing, and it just so happened they used to ski at mt. Hood
