so bush wanted to add an amendment that defined marriage to that, between a man and a woman. why? because he believes that anything else is fundamentally wrong. which is a fine personal belief if you are religious. except wait a second, in the american constitution there is distinct presence of the concept that, church and state must be separate. homosexuality cannot be wrong unless you view it to be in violation of a rule, correct? and what is the origin of this rule that comes to mind? well unfortunately in america our moral system is based off of the teachings in the bible, but a line must be drawn somewhere - refusing to recognize homosexuality because you see it as sinful, is nothing short of unconstitutional. the megalomaniac should be held in contempt if you ask me.
this is for aoe and anyone else that is ignorant enough to believe that homosexuality is a choice: homosexuals don't turn gay, an environment cannot turn you gay. there is absolutely no scientific data suggesting that environment is causation for homosexuality. in addition to that, geneticists still have no evidence that genes are responsible for sexuality, despite an exhausting number of attempts. in the realm of science (and psychology for that matter!), homosexuality is an enigma. do you honestly believe that homosexuals only spawn from liberal flower loving communities? i have come across more homosexuals from conservative christian/catholic republican environments, than anything else. and bisexuality? can there not be a blending of sexuality like all other physical and mental characteristics of complex organisms!? how many times must i say this: OBJECTIVITY IS THE NAME OF THE GAME. look, kids forget what you know and go talk to losts of gay people, see what they have to say - and fucking listen to them. because in my book, believing that the legitimacy of homosexuality is a farce, is equal ground with believing that the holocaust never existed - its just that moronic.
