My buds just broke and I have 7 hours at the airport in 2 days. I need new headphones and I need them now. Online ordering is out. I need something purchasable at a retailer.

Try to keep it under 50 bucks. And I want in-ear buds.

Yeah I was afraid of that. I have my quality over ear headphones, but dont like travelling with them. I was hoping someone knew of a smaller brand that makes good buds. (Ie Audio Technica)

I've got a pair thats pretty similar to those (discontinued), and i love them. Easily the best earbuds ive ever owned. They far outdo any other equally priced buds and are comparable to Beats in build quality (surpass them in sound quality)

Just get some bose headphones. Quite a bit more expensive than what you are looking for but you wont have to replace them every month. you also dont have to shove them up your ears so their really comfortable.

Best Buy and most others should carry Senhaisser, or like someone said klipsche, or Shure. Stay away from skullcandy, beats and bose. Bose is good but overpriced.

Sennheiser's are an excellent choice in the $50 range.

These are my favorite headphones of all time and I got them for $15 at TJ Maxx. They have great sound quality and maybe you can find them cheap. I've had them for 3 years

sony mbr-bx 50ap you can get them for less than $50, good sound quality through out the frequency range. bass is a bit boomy so the highs get washed out sometimes. good for hip hop and bass music.
