Homemade ski blades

Is this possible? I was thinking I could take an old pair of skis of craigslist and cut off the tails and some how bend them up. Is it possible to bend the skis at all with heat or something? Or should I just keep looking for a real pair?

I have the stuff just deciding if I’m gonna do it or just buy a pair but if I do it I’ll take pictures.

Do it I’m sure you can find a pair of skis to do it too

Get a real pair I dont trust OP's craftsmanship

Also i dont know how your going to match the sidecut of ski blades by chopping up new skis. Ski blades have a turn radius of like 8m and thats partly what makes em fun
 
I had a pair of 110cm rossignol rebels and had a pair of 11 din looks that I mounted on them. You could change the binding with a car key so my friends and I would take turns with them in the park.

Also, this was my last run in a comp, and i stomped my second run and busted out the homeade blades. Died on the first jump but did a k fed on some pvc, then a lip blind 2 on a D rail. also disastered a flat down, was in disbelief to pull off second but i guess the style points gave the judges chubs

I have a pair but I’m not sure how to cut them, what tools did you use?
 
My buddy just took a pair of qst 118s and sawed the backs off right behind the binding so he basically made a directional ski blade...shit rips the bumps

A jig saw, a belt sander, and just eyeballing it. left 5 inches infront and behind the binding. Made a homeade ski press to shape the tip and tail, but since it was so near the core of the ski it, it was hard to get any shape out of them. maybe got a inch or less of rise
