Homemade Rails

Any sites with how-to-info out there? I'm sure that I could come up with something but I'd rather save some time, effort, and cash by using a proven design. Any sites, links, etc?

Tried using the search function with every variation on "rails" but didn't come up with much.

Yeah - used it - and didn't find what I was looking for in there so I thought I'd ask for some links on the off chance that I'd get some worthwhile info along with the abuse/reminders about the search bar.

I went to some guys I know who has a melting machine( don't know what its called in your silly american language) and he put the pieces together for me.

Worked really fine, and I made this fundament things in the ground so that I can remove it and put it in again when I want.

just draw out what you wana build, and add up the total number of feet of 2x4's and then just go to the store and divide that number by how long each 2x4 is.

then just get ply wood for the top of the box, lexan or pvc pipes for the top.

Its not really rocket science, as long as you suport it enough it will work. If you don't have access to welding equipment making a metal rail is really hard.

build a frame outta 2x4s however tall and long you feel like. then buy four 1/2 inch PVC pipes, lay them on top of the frame, take a drill bit and drill holes in 4 places along the top of each PVC pipe, take a screw and drill the pvc pipe into the wood frame and voila. check out my profile for a pic of a small 10' one i made
