i made somethin last year, its a drop in ramp with carpet over it, then put soap and water and it slides, then a rail at the end...my mom threw it away though...she said it was a peice of crap

its tiny but good for practicing, and the rail is actually perfectly straight, it just looks bent

 
here's my contribution, it's not that great, just a 12 foot flat rail, but it was pretty damn fun and I also had a light set up so I could hit it all night. My neighbors really loved that. By the way sorry the pic is so huge, I made it smaller but I didn't want to post the same pic twice.

^if you're talking about my rail I think you're referring to my tripod, I don't have a snowmaker. This was just one of the rare times we got snow in vancouver, otherwise I just cart in some snow from the local arena.

me and my friend have a 10 foot pvc teeter totter/up rail with a turf inrun. Ill post some pics in a bit. Whole setup costs around 10 dollars.

ill try to get on up of my back yard... right now we've got a 18 foot C rail, a 15 foot straight low rail which is good for practicing 270's onto and shit, and then we've got like a 6 foot handicap rail which my brothers stupid ass friends brought into my backyard and more to come

how do you normally get the speed for these things.. im in the process of making one, but then realized i dont really have a hill.. so i was thinking, hey il ljust make a roll in.. . so, how is it that you get the speed?

ya man we've got a small hill and then we built a ramp on top of it but u could just make like a 6 foot high table pretty much and cover one side with boards and then u pile up the snow on the side u put the boards on and there u go a make shift ramp

i live like right below a huge mountain not a ksi hill but a u know thats where we do it at its really nice u get tons of speed

to get speed just do what I did, I built a big box out of two by fours and then put a sheet of plywood on top. Then I just used a few more two by fours to make a ramp down from the box. Cover it with snow and you're good to go.

yea today i tried to go down my slide to get speed, then i hit a carpet and jumped to a rail...but it dididnt work i need a small kicker

ill post some pics once i fix it or a video

i dont put rails in my yard anymore, although i had a 20 ft down kink 2 seasons ago. This season I put in a big step-down kicker right on the edge of a steep landing hill so that i got a lot of hang time with minimal danger. Big enough for seven variations.

There were plans to build a 50 ft step down tree gap, but we didnt get enough snow.

This past season me and a couple of my buddies built a kicker from the edge of my pond, across my driveway and onto the hill leading from my pond. i have a in-run hill but it wasn't big enough so i got a boat tow rope and hooked it to my quad we slingshotted eachother off of it. It was pretty sick. We parked my dad's mini van on the driveway and jumped it, i have pics somewhere i'll have to find them. It was pretty good for learning 540's and 360's with grabs
