So im curious..is it hard to mount bindings at home? if i had the correct jig, a table, etc... is it possible for me to mount my skis at my house? for reference i have some salomon suspects i want to have mounted with 4frnt deadbolts ( tyrolia peak 15s)

You can do it but you have to know what you're doing. Make sure to use the right jig, right drill bit, etc. Wrong drill bit and you'll ruin the skis. And you'll need a way to clamp the skis down to keep them from moving.

I remounted my rock skis a couple times by using basic math skills and a power drill. I would consider myself a pretty "handy" guy but it's not rocket science. That being said, If I get brand new skis I will have them mounted by a "professional" because a $700 mistake is no bueno.

$50 for a mount vs potential knee surgery is an easy choice for me.

Check yourself until you know your work can be trusted. And then still check yourself.
