I made a backpack mount where there is a pole that comes out of the bottom of my ski pack and angles up to above and behind my head. If you watch Salomon FSTV "La Nina" at the end of the vid it has the kind of shot I get with it.

take an old golf club and put the mount on the head of the club. it actually works pretty well. i remeber just skiing around with a golf club an getting some probs for my creativity

I made a wooden square and put weights on the bottom corners, pretty stable.

No, I race jet skis, but I've always wanted to try wakeboarding.

Also, I forgot I made this one for skiing. It's a hockey stick with a ski pole epoxied in at the bottom with a GoPro 3M flat mount.:

I get at least 3 people a day who ask me "is that a hockey stick?!" when I use it.
