Homemade cable covers?

I've got some fulltilts that i want cable covers for....but was thinking of doing a custom job. anyone think this would be possible, or more specifically, EASY? or have there been anything like mostly/plain white ones?

+k to legit answers. maybe even some stickers to people who give me a lot of help if i'm feeling generous....
