Homeland

One of the best shows I've seen in a long time. One word - tension. These guys, formerly behind 24, know how to build it. Combine that with actors like Claire Danes, Mandy Patinkin and Damien Lewis and combine paranoia and psychological issues with the constant war on terror and "Any means necessary" attitude, and it's pretty much a wrap. I tried to find a subbed version of the Israeli show it's based on, Hatufim, but no such luck.

Just got continued for Season 2, although I hope it won't overstay its welcome. Six seasons and a movie. 10/10 and recommend to all.

i enjoy it but i don't think claire danes is very good in it. definitely better than 24 though, fewer cheap thrills but it actually has substance

yeah it's mental...

Was the last one the other week - when she was in hospital, and the last thing you saw was her realizing that Body knew the son and then went under to have her memory wiped!?

Was proper shit yo pants tense when he had his finger on the bomb switch! Holy sheet...

What? She was perfect for it. Solid show overall. Extended finale was mental. I'm conflicted (only in passing thought) as to which show had the best year: game of thrones or homeland? Doesn't matter, I'll be eager to see the next season

Add Breaking Bad into that formula (get it?) and there's your Top Three of drama series.

And yeah, I can't even fathom anyone else as Carrie than Claire, she is so convincing in manic mode it's crazy. Plus she's just so damn beautiful in a slightly off-kilter way.

got the stomach flu in the fall and watched the entire season on my dvr in 2 days.... now that breaking bad has started up again... i have something to hold my attention while i wait for season 2 of homeland.

Was just about to bump this.

Dexter and Homeland both look like bangers this season. Dexter was so disappointing last year but homeland saved it. That Homeland season preview looked nuts and I can't imagine how Dexter can be anything short of great after that first episode.

Nows the time to get on the wagon if you don't know about Homeland.

Dexter was sick last night- after two seasons of blowing it may make a comeback- homeland once again was awesome- the smile has to be one of my favorite moments in tv - that one smile revealed so much about carrie and her love for the CIA life - perfectly acted by Claire Danes

Dexter was good. So much can happen this season.

Homeland...I hate it but I love it. I want Brody to get caught so badly

24 was great - you can definitely tell that the same type of filming is used in homeland and 24- when people are talking on the phone its that same style of quiet side conversations with quick camera cuts back and forth

I can't enjoy it because I can't stand Damian Lewis' oddly proportioned mouth.

Second episode last night and woah... wasn't expecting shit to go down so early in the season, but wut! The brown stuff is hitting the rotating wind creator from here on in!!

if you liked 24, youll definitely like this show- if you didnt like 24 you'll still love it- great acting and an absolute mindfuck
