This is an epic tale...and i mean epic in a bad way...
Ok, so last weekend was homecoming for my HS. I live in Stroudsburg Pa (the poconos). I'm on the soccer team and we had a few games before homecoming weekend. There was this crowd of kids from our rival school showing up at them talking shit to us while we played. This obviously pissed us off. This group of kids showed up at our homecoming football game, and once again were talking shit. Most of the soccer team, and a few random kids who like to brawl, confronted them and the war began...One kid pulled out brass knuckles and was taunting us...we started talkin' shit right back and eventually he started crying! The other kids in the group had been silent up to this point, but now they were pissed. My friend was about 1 second away from KOing this kid over the back of the stands when security showed up. Security threw the kids out and we got nothing.
Some nutty kids from our school heard about this and before you could say "OH SHIT" they were off to rally the troops. They picked up some kid who was in town from NJ (the leader of the Latin Crypts) and gathered a few baseball bats. With about 5 kids, ready to beat some major ass, they went to one East Stroudsburg (our rival) kids house looking for him. His dad came out and told them to git'. Being the pychos these kids are, they started beating the dad with bats. The Crypts leader hit him so hard over the head, he started bleeding from the ears. The neighbor saw what was goin' down and ran out to aid the father. He tried to break it up, but the kids went after him. One kid raised the bat to hit him and the man put his arm up to block it. The bat shattered his elbow.
After this, the kids bolted. The father was in intensive care for over a day, and almost died. The neighbor ended up being the MAYOR of East Stroudsburg! He will never be able to use his left arm again. Everybody thought the soccer team was behind this because they knew we were pissed. Kids and teachers in school were asking if we were responsible. Eventually some names leeked out, as they always do, and arrests were made. They still can't find the kid from NJ who did most of the beating. When they do, he'll be facing a sentence of up to 20 years. 10 years for each person beaten. If the father dies, he'll be charged with Murder 1. All the other kids are also facing charges.
The whole thing is still being sorted out, and theres a warrant for the NJ kid's arrest. The whole town is goin nuts...
Pray for the two victims, for they are still in very bad condition.
