Home Jib Setup done right

I wish, my bro works evenings at the Hilton and I broke my account on this year's season pass. Friday Spring's supposed to be starting Insomniac Fridays and my brother has the day off then and Saturday so maybe some other time when he has time off.

thanks a lot anyways. There isn't a lot of flatland freeskiers around here, so I like to get to know the guys around here.

SO NO ONE HAS SEEN THIS CONTEST YET OR JUST NO ONE CARES OP ENTER THIS CONTEST LIKE HOLY NUGGETS PEOPLE GET IN THE LOOP

Mostly everyone has chipped in in some way or another. Ha, I bought some wood for the huts on top of the jumps, and the tin for the tree jib. Cost me about $30 bucks. Then I build the snow rake to keep the place looking fresh. Then some time was spent building it.

But I'm sure if there are any NS'ers passing though, we'd be glad to have you. Just PM OP first.

you sir, are an inspiration. but my set up is much better. i trespass onto my old neighbor's lot (she moved away but her house hasn't sold), and just set up crappy rails all around her rather hilly yard. the highlight is when i jibbed her For Sale sign. but dude, in all seriousness, that shit is epic.

Nicely done.

Was thinking what a waste of snow. You have a stupid amount of snow but you're riding beat pvc and 2x4s.

But then you build a nice dfd.

I like. I wish I still built backyard settups. If I had people to sesh with still and wasn't always at a mountain it'd be fun. Gave away my drop in and some other shit this year. :(

Can't wait to see the rest of your pics.

Inspired! Nice work on this OP and anyone else involved.

This is our backyard setup we got going right now. Hoping to get some jibs and whatnot in their soon too.

(Sorry for the tiny pic, took this off my friend's FB)

In-run to porch drop or road gap.

Second option is gaping the big roller to quarter pipe (which is behind the photographer).

Update:

Lately we have been getting lots of snow but its also been like -40 for the past two weeks. That hasn't stopped us tho. We placed in a new rail and made the final jumps' takeoff and landing way more legit.

I ended up tweaking my knee pretty good trying to 3 out of that damn tree but I think i will be back in action later this week.

Ive got some footy from last weekend and will be combining that with some more footage from our local hill this coming weekend (as long as its not so cold that it closes down again).

And the forecast has another 10-20 cm on the way for us the make everything even better. Now there is so much snow that im having to find places to push it to or else all the features will be like 2" tall. As of now one of the boxes has almost disappeared into the base lol.

So by next week the new GP edit should be up and running. Also soon we are going to start filming for the high quality vid i make every year. With our DSLR's and whatnot.

Here is a pic of the camera stabilizer/rig I built (didn't want to spend $300 to buy one). Just need to buy a Rode videomic for in then im set.

PS. Its really awesome to see everyone starting to really progress and gain confidence in their riding as a result of the park!!!

well its been a while now since i last posted and all its been doing here is snowing. This time last year the golf courses were open, and now, I have soooo much snow that it may glacierize and stay year round haha. We are doing some filming for a little season ender vid now and decided to get some cool pics last night.
