Holy Snow (Tahoe)

lucky bastard, but we just got 11 feet 2 weeks ago in 7 days, 48 inches in 48 hours..and we got 20 this week too, but now its all hard
 
they are prolly gettin the same. kwood might get a lil more just cause of the altitude and location b/c they usually get more for some reason. both places are prolly crazy for pow.
 
well that was really depressing. Im on the east coast i really didnt want to know about all that snow. I ski killy and the seasons prolly gunna be over in a couple weeks. it sucks.
 
Dude what the fuck? We get a temp. of 33F and it pours rain while you can still get dumped on when it's above 40???
 
HOLY SHIT! whats up with this? lucky. i skiied yesterday and it was 45 at smuggs. we lost like all of our base and i dunno, it sucks. can't say im not having fun though. the ~3 feet of snow we got over vacation just disappeared. and apparently, that was just about all we had. pooop.
 
Damn...that is fucking crazy...too bad the snow in cali is real wet and rather cement like...but hey, snow is snow
 
Yeah alot of the time the snow here is heavy, but since it was snowing down to 1000 feet, the snow at 7-8k was pretty light.
 
yeah snow at mammoth is hardly ever heavy and cement like.. Mammoth didn't get the storm tahoe got but we've gotten 30 or so inches in the past week, and 6 feet last week. it was like -2 degrees and snowing all day today.
 
its not as wet as you think. i skied good powder this weekend. as for the dude who asked why we get snow at 40 degrees, the forecast is for the town of truckee which is lower altitude than the top of the mountain.
 
Park City isnt getting n e thing compared to that but it has been snowing on and off for like a week and a half... prolly a couple of feet...
 
Theres no sierra cement right now. We are getting legit blower snow....and tons of it.
 
It just doesn't stop. Skied Alpine today and it seemed like every hike was completely fresh. Another storm is coming throught tommorow and they are calling for another 3 feet.
 
it is also to bad you have know idea what the hell your talkin about, we are getting some of the lightest snow right now.
 
well maybe the rest of tahoe is getting snow but northstar isn't getting shit. Time to buy a spring pass for alpine.
 
sick , went to squaw in january , my cousins live out there, looks like i am taking a trip, last year i went on easter, they got a 6 foot storm the day before, sick, to them its like the typical storm
