this is the run charles gagnier is claiming in the pipe at Winter X this year

Gagnier plans to roll the dice on his first pipe hit with a cork 1080, setting him up for a switch cab 720 on the opposite wall. With enough luck (and speed) he'll follow those up with back-to-back cork 900s, an alley-oop 540, and another 1080. "I've got several runs in mind, but the biggest thing for me is variety-I want to spin every way and do a different grab on every jump, rail and wall."

i think if he stomps that with amplitude hes going to win

I am ambivalent here.

While I think it is great to set high expectations for oneself, and broadcasting these expectations to the world is a great way of pushing yourself because you want to measure up to what you claimed, this seems a little conceited.

I will be the first to state that Charles Gagnier is an incredibly talented skiier. I think it would be cooler to keep it under wraps and then suprise people when the time comes. This run also looks a lot like a Shaun White run, with all the high number spins. I really liked Laurent Farve's alley oop 180 first hit last year in X pipe.

oh yea, "amplitude" is prob one of the gayest words I have heard in awhile. The word never gets used until at the xgames, for fucks sake, think of another word to use. Amplitude doesnt apply to skiing in my opinion. Just use sick or gnar.
