this fucker came out of nowhere and it is fucking huge, it is raining soooooo bad outside right now. if it was winter we would already have at least 6 inches down and its been not even half an hour. fuck pa.

you know I wish everytime It rained it would be snow. Cause then I would be able to make cool snow tunnels out of my window cause I live in the basement. That would be fun

haha thats awesome, id have to get about 25 feet of snow to do that out of my window...

whenever I go to alberta in the summer im always looking forward to the big storms, they are always so nice

in ontario too there was a shitload of rain today. i had to work (outside) through all of it. i was completely drenched by the end of it. it sucked

haha i hate working in the rain. at one point, when your shirt inside your rain coat is saturated, it just stops phasing you, because you cannot possibly get any wetter.

yeah calgary gets some pretty epic late afternoon thunder storms. they come in so fast and dump so much rain. its like 10 degrees here today. so nice, since its been 30 for weeks.

It's been so hot and muggy around here that we're getting thunderstorms every day. Some of them are pretty intense.

the worst is when it rains in the middle of january. then the hills get ice covered, and it's shitty out. that might happen only in ohio though. i don't know.

Because in winter, the sea surface is colder in the northern hemisphere, thus resulting in less evaporation, so less clouds, and less pressure systems to blow over the continent. Basically, less water because of less heat.

Not where I live... Actually it's about even, winter and summer. I live near syracuse. Last year there was around 20ft give or take a few throughout the winter about 20 miles away.

Mountains affect the rainfall, creating deserts and such, and then there are different wind currents which give certain areas more or less rainfall (like the pacific northwest). But basically, heat and water are the causes of weather patterns, which is why hurricanes only happen in the later spring, when the water is heating up.

the ocean was rough today here in NJ. it packed a punch for sure, but the waves still sucked. I can see a storm moving in, maybe it's the one you're getting hit with right now.

yup just got under 6 inches here in mountaintop, pa. it was basically kickass, i love when we get 3 feet of water in my basement :-/

it pretty much blew over, i went to the movies tonight and i shoulda been at med express getting these hives/rash checked out. ill post pics and a story cause it sucks haha.
