haha okemo cant set up rainbow rails for their life. They basically stick them in the ground and dont have jumps onto them, so its impossible for skiers to hit them. Hopefully they learn something and set up all the rails nicely though

i used to think that okemo had gnarly shit, but most of it seems small and short now that ive been in CO, im not hating, just noticing the dicrepancies between east and west coast resorts.

 
haha yea it's true okemo sucks at setting up their jibs. I broke my wrist on a rail there last year cause the gap was so bad I had to pop all weird and shit. last year I saw some kid try that rainbow rail and hit the front, ate shit so hard ski po had to come.

yea on every single one of their rainbow and rollercoaster rails last year there wasnt even transitions let alone jumps into em.....just a huge rainbow right in the middle of the snow.....boarders could pull it of cuz they can just ride on but there was no way for skiers to hit em

last weekend the front (up) part of the battleship rail was just barely burried into the snow and after like my fifth or sixth time hitting it my ski caught and ripped about 4 inches of my edge out and totally ruined my skis my first day skiing. Luckily though Okemo was chill about it and they're giving me another pair of skis.

okemo sucks at everything. all those new jibs blow and half of them arent even new. they have about 8 rainbows all of which are fucking tiny or just plain ridiculous. their boxes are shit, they dont know how to set shhit up. i was there on sunday and everythin was 5 feet long. that wallride is deathly. if anyone goes ove the back, death is imminent. good work okemo, hope you keep up with the insurance bills cause people are gon be gettin fucked up this year (round of applause)

A word from the guys from Okemo parks and pipes. Yes alot of the are from last year with a new look . As far as the 'mini' rails they are for the snowskate park. The back of the wall will be coverd in snow. The swingset box used in the Freeze comp. was built by us for them. The old boxes are a bit better now and the new ones are bout perfect says everyone that has seen and hit them. Everything we have out now is smaller yes, that is because we can not put out anything big this early. The big stuff will be out when we get our parks up and going. Thanks for the positive and negitive coments , both will prove useful. Its good to hear what we need to improve on as well as getting praised for the things you think we do well. We will do our best to please all of you.

 
ive been up there 3 times so far and i talked to one of the guys who was grooming the jibs, he said they were going for quality not quantity, as to why they only had 3 rails of 100 that they have. still pretty gay tho because it doesnt take much snow to setup a nice rail....

its good the 2 head huys of the park are on this site, now they can see what people really think. Okmeo does have a lot of improvements in their setup of things but if u tell the park rangers they will take it into consideration.

Yeah dude I'm not going to Okemo again. Last year I ate it hard on one of their rainbow rails. Tried to get on it, but since there was no jump to get on it, hit the front and that's the last I remember.
