def a cork 5

not enough flip to be able to be a flair

but so sick!

i remember watching the first backflip done on a dirtbike and i was in awe and know this

so crazy

august 14th for the clap your hands say yeah concert. I'll bring the skinny jeans if you bring the messenger bikes

I am never that impressed when it comes to moto. I dont see why so many people are obsessed with watching it.

Dude whats wrong with you those guys are fucking nuts I wish I had half the balls that they do... And I want to see you flip a bike

I agree they are fucking nuts and I cannot do that but I dont think its fun to watch. Nascar is pretty insane going like over 200 mph but its boring as hell to watch. Watching it just is boring to me, its personal preference.

god dam those guys are fucken insane most people cant do that on a bmx bike but on a 200 pound dirtbike or watever is just insane

i remember back in the day when backflips were a big deal in freestyle motocross. that sport is progressing like mad.

I disagree all they have done is variations of backflips untill this with a couple things you dont see much. Like has anyone really got a double back down yet so they throw in competition regularly. I think I remember seeing travis trying them and he might have barely landed one.

i loled...

if you wanna call that "barely" then go ahead... but he stomped that cleaner that most people stomp their singles... and just so you know, variations have been getting way crazier in the past few years; underflips, cork 3's, body varials over the bike (like leaving the bike in mid air, doing a 360/barrel roll [both have been done] over the bike and land back on it) not to mention i heard that travis has got the tripple... and i also know hes been working on the tail whip backflip with a modified dirtbike with a gyro...

I guess I havent seen the same thing you have (not scarism, I just dont like watching it that much so Im sure you have seen more). But, most of those tricks you mentioned are still not thrown in contests regularly. Maybe best trick, but not in the freestyle moto with the timed runs. Also, besides travis how many guys can do a triple let alone double?

Sorry for the double post, but I have say that I wish they called their 360s flat spins. To me it makes soo much more sense. I will have to admit, the barrel roll over the bike then getting back on is dope.

the body variel is still needed to be perfected, its only done (still) by chuck. travis doesnt have the triple, but has been working on the 720 with a 125. a few bmx style tricks as the decade and the tail whip backie have been toyed with using that bike you speak of, but nothing serious as to bring into competition. he hasn't been focusing a lot of attention on FMX- remember that.

thats my favorite part of it all... he can still come to comps (red bull x fighters) after a year of not competing and dominate (in the rain no less)... not to mention he's an accomplished rally racer now..

exactly... the magnitude of tricks they are doing is pretty up there as far as risk factor is concerned... not to mention an average jump puts you 60 ft off the ground, 60-100+ ft gap, from a metal take off ramp (thats 20 ft high at the top) to a dirt mound landing with nothing in between... oh yea... and they're flipping 240 lb bikes...
