holy shit! new for this season.

-30 to 40 ft s box

-25 ft j shaped rainbow

-15 -20 ft flat down box

-flat box

-rails on halfpipe deck

-all the rails from last year (exept big long one)

-plus more to come, such as connected picnic tables.

Skiing influences my life way too much, I can be at some surf spot where theres not any snow at all and I walk by this resturant and I'll see a hand rail outside it and I'll have a thought that how can I get snow out here to slide this rail. Which is absolutly super stupid- Jon Olsson
 
and the pipe groomer. lets hope they actually use it. i really wanted another shot at the long handrail this year though.

 
o yeah. i almost forgot... they are permitting skiing under the double chair through the woods, and are making a monster hip jump that comes back out onto the trail where the big orange rail was. sounds cool but people on the trail are gonna get run over

oh yea speaking of the pipe cutter. when i was at my training they talked like if the weather was alright they were gonna try to cut the pipe everyday if not two times a day. That would be nice.

ok, from what bob the park guy explained to me...

where the little connector trail connects the two parks.. where the long bent rail was... the double chair is right there.

they are gonna have snow so yo ucan ski down the like 10 ft wide little chute under the lift from the 1st connector to the second connector, and this will be the run in to a hip located ride on the side of the trail where that chute would come out. they already have dirt piled up for it. my concern is people hauling full speen going out into the trail is not a good idea... but sweet anyway.

Word i hear ya, i seem chance of snow sunday and from there on out cold weather!!!!! maybe next wednesday well be open!!

this talk of cutting the pipe everyday is nice, i love riding pipe but theres like two days a year it can be done because pipes in pa suck and never are maintained.

Its getting cold, you know what that means.
 
i hope they have some kinda fence on that landing for the hip or some1 will die by gettin blindsided

thanks for the pictures they have a lot of new stuff. i can't believe they got a beast. i cant wait to see how muhc they use it or if they even know how to. we'll see when the season comes.

Hey Everyone,

Glad to see there is some serious interest this year in BC's Park. This will be my third year working up there...My name is Bob by the way. I am a supervisor in the rental shop. Whats up Boyer...haha i seem to find you everywhere....anyway i dunno if you guys heard but they are working on a double barrel s rail as well...looks pretty sick...also the J rail was supposed to get some graphics this weekend....i will try and keep everyone updated or i am sure others will chime in as well. See you on the slopes. I drive a big green jeep or else o the slopes i am on silver 1080's, bright red boots lol lata

how do ya know i dont lol, anyway, my only thoughts on opening up then are, anytime after the 8th bear is losing money, they should freakin open when they have good coverage the longer they wait, the more they lose and the more people will get fed up, personally i am, i skied october, early november and now dec 4 i personally need it lol, but i think my point is valid time not open=money

yeah it would be great to open asap but you have to rememeber this year is brand new for everyone including employees. So it will be a learning experience for everyone....Most of the new employees got their first glimpse of the place at orientation,and that was only a little over a week ago. I agree tim=money but sometimes it's better to do things right than half ass. I would rather open and be able to accomodate everyone rather than open with limitations. Since everything is new we want to make a good impression on people.

 
yea lookin at the winter i think they should be able to blow almost all week and definelty have good coverage to open this weekend before christmas

 
hopefully they open on thursday cause they wanna blow at night and three solid nights of blowing they will be able to open so thursday is looking good
