but my dad is currently trying to convince my mom to let me skip tomorrow to go enjoy the fresh from this storm at alpental tomorrow, pray that he doesn't let me down!!!!!!
 
i was at stevens which said they got 8 inches but felt a little more like 10 or 11. either way it was amazing bluebird and noone was up there. skied fresh tracks all day
 
Id like to ski crystal sometime besides opening day. Somebody must be able to hook me up with a free ticket. Ill give you the opportunity to meet me. People usually have to wait in line for that sort of thing~
 
I'm pretty sure that you should let me try those ARGs, and you can try my 189 One Lifes or 202 Lotus 138s durring this time. Also, I hate everybody(out of jealousy) whos parents let them skip school to ski(or are you in college?), which seems to be a lot of parents. I could have straight As and not be aloud to go on an 18" overnight friday. At least I'll be 18 the season of my senior year!
 
Yeah, the snow was definately deeper where it was windblown. Unfortuantely, the wind seemed to be pretty weak, not too much super light stuff...

But yeah, I'm a senior in HS. My grades are pretty stable so my parents trust me to make up my work, which isn't too bad of a trade off. Also, my grades just need to be above B's, so I should be ok for the final semester.

As far as trading skis, my ARG's could probably fit between a 25.5 and 27.5 boot, I'm a 26.5. They're 185cm (duh) w/ Solly Z12 Ti's. Nice and light was my goal. If you or anyone else is up on a pow day, I'm down to trade for a few runs. 202cm 138's would be crazyyyyyy. haha One lifes too... mmmmmm, skis.
 
Welll I'm a 28.5/326 BSL so that probably won't fit. You can try the 138s if you want sometime though, they have large Dukes so they'd fit your boots. And holy shit, that's a light setup with Z12 Ti's, have you ever broken one of the bindings though?
 
Awww, large dukes are just outta range. Oh well, skiing next to some DPS would be fun too! haha

But no, no issues with the bindings yet. I've haven't taken them off even 20ft huckers, but they've been fine for me at just 140 lbs... haha I have Dynafit bindings on my Rossi steezes too, so I like the lighter bindings. Had dukes for a bit, but I just can't lug those things up hill, downhill though, they shreddddd!
 
Pretty sure that large dukes can go down to 300(they say 305, but I know small dukes can go up to 325 even though they say 320), and with a slightly loose forward pressure lower than that.
 
sucks for you. I'm in Cali and we've been getting puked on for the past two weeks straight...I just know that crystal needs the base layer still.
