Holy Halo 4 batman!

as someone who fucking loves halo, that's good news i guess. but i havent even had time to play reach much yet. do they mean holiday 2012 as in almost 2 years from now? or this coming holiday season?

also it says it's not being made by bungie..hope they dont fuck it up!
 
halo was great because bungie was putting so much of their funding behind it.

i feel like this next game is going to blow.
 
When games switch developers they usually suck. Halo is awesome though so I will be looking forward to it for sure. I feel like they are going to have to drastically change the game play to make it feel unique so it will be interesting where they go with it.
 
yeah, i agree on both points. bungie seemed like they really put their all into making halo kick ass, i hope these new guys dont drop the ball
 
well look who's doing the new halo, it's the same people practically. they made the map pack for reach, and they run halo waypoint, they're practically bungie.
 
looks off the meatrackkkkkkkkkkkk......... hope its not a let down. i waited like a year and a half for ODST and once campaign was over it was useless. Reach was better and now i wanna play halo!
 
343 is an internal team put together by microsoft to only work on Halo things. Its composed of people from other companies. The Franchise Development Director is from Bungie as is the senior animator. A bunch of the other people worked on the Halo games or they kick ass and have been brought in because they kill it. I think microsoft just wants complete control over their most important franchise.

Its not a new developer. As said before its still made by the same internal team that created the rest of the Halo series with Bungie, its just this time, it won't have the Bungie title to it.
 
no shit, call of duty sucks now too. i have the first one and cod4.i seriously dont understand why so many people play call of duty and think its cool, i get bored after a couple hours.
 
I feel the same way, but I can only hope for another great halo like halo 2 (the best of the halo series imo)

and also bring back the battle rifle
 
I'll agree with you on this because I didn't see a point in buying a COD after Modern Warfare 1. They got progressively worse however before Modern Warfare COD sucked monstrous dick. In my opinion it took 4 games to get that down. Also, do you really need to be playing a game for more than a couple hours in a sitting? And thirdly, as to your played as fuck comment, why would you stop a multi-million $ franchise if its still generating money and the story isn't finished? Its not even like they're starting an entirely new story in the Halo world its a continuation that will be another 3 games.
 
Lets hope its better than Halo wars, Halo ODST, and Reach cause all of those sucked sooooo much compared to Halo 3.
 
I hope to tits that Combat Evolved will have coagulation. That was easily my favorite map.
 
i want Ascension, Coagulation, and my favorite, Sidewinderall this with XBL and the original pistol and sniper
 
this. A lot of time before it comes out. I loved reach for about a month and then it got stale fast. I hope that they can do something to make me play it as much as I used to play halo 3.
 
Hang em high was the best map ever created. If you want a really fun game type that will take a good 2 hours, make a capture the flag game on hang em high, sniper rifle and pistol, and no shields. Link up two boxes in different rooms and pwn for days.

well microsoft helped bungie out a lot and they microsoft is doing the same with 343 so it should be pretty sick
