omg i just found out that fagmars seasons pass is 500.00$$$$!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! holy crap this year better be amazing for that much dough...425.00 if i u buy one before the end of the seaosn,.,,,im going to pass out...HOLY SHIT THATS A LOT FOR DAGMAR!!!

its so fucken gay how we have to pay that much money for a small place like dag which is good for the area but crappy overall,, like blue u can get a 5X7 at blue for 149!! and if u go to any other ski resort in canada, and USA the lift ticket rates are almost identical.... with Dagmar makin so much money,,, I dont see much money being put into the place... the only real change they have made in the past while is 2 magic carpets and the chair lift.. i think they despertly need a new chalet... but.. I will still ski dagmar cause Lakeridge sucks balls lol

a carpet would be sweet to have in a park just jump off anywhere you like, probably cause lots of injuries but thing of the benefits. And ya lifts are kinda expensive

they suck to try and ski up...APPERENTLY they are sticky and you faceplant trying to bomb up them...damn things

Yeah. the nice thing for them is that they can charge that much and people will still come. They've optimized the ticket price to make as much money as thye can, like any business would.

It's unfortunate that there havent been too many improvements considering the money they are probably making. Mt St louis has put its money into increasing the hight of the hill by using trucks to bring dirt up to the top, they've got new lifts, they bought a superpipe dragon and opened two superpipes, theyve bought a new website design.. the list goes on. Blue has doen all the same things, 3 new chairlifts, a park with more and more stuff every year.. and so on. If your concerned about it, bring this up with the management at your resort and maybe they'll take more initiative.

Oh how i love ye:

You do know that mountain is just a colloquial term generally used to describe prety much almost any ski hill, right?

^^

ya dag despertly needs a new chalet,, skyloft and lakeridge have amazing chalets (for the area) compared to dagmars.

Dagmar is a HUGE rip off thats why i work there haha. but it is retared how much it is. id rather save the money and get a 5x7 at blue and use the extra 350 oh gas money

im from oakville which was #1 for income, but a couple of hockey players and the president of microsoft canada left so now were in 2nd. Just thought u would like to kno.

convenient or not, its still a ridiculous ripoff... you could fly ur ass to banff, get a job in a resort that gives you FREE acomidations, and FREE passes, or ski dagmar all year for $500... im moving west... admin at dagmar are money hungry and i hope it bites them in the ass this year. blue had the right idea making a cheap pass to attract newer skiers at an awesome price, theyll become a solid customer base while dagmar helps them out by scaring people into going there... im gonna be so broke, again

The ski business is expensive...there is way more involved then you may think or even dream of....A basic quad chair....2 million or more....then all the continual maintenance, staffing, government regs....to keep you and I all safe and in the air....Alot of thought goes towards parks these days...but parks raise insurance premiums through the roof...blame the insurance companies you say...blame everyone in that park around you...likely half would sue if they got hurt because THEY did something stupid....average cost of one basic rail or feature $1500...thats built and designed in house with a certified welder...My advice to all free riders skis or boards...becareful how much you vocalize your thoughts rants and rage towards the rest of the skiers etc old or young) Parks bring in money...but use a VERy large precentage of it just to build and maintain...not including the higher rates in insurance, Precentage of park users is a fraction of "full mountain" users, therefore more money per demographic goes to supporting freeride parks and riders then to joe public, racing, lessons, chalets, lifts, you name it....my rants done, and I must say the park is where I spend 95% of my free ski time, alot of my time goes into ours all year long at OSC (Kirby), I'm a huge supporter of parks the culture, and the industry....I support all resorts in our area, most of us work together at a managment level believe it or not. Just to throw out the word, A student MEMBERSHIP at OSC (kirby) is $290 14 years and up (no initiation fee, and as long as your in school) or an adult night pass is $200...or just give us a shot for $34 on a weekend. Cheers guys...Support the whole industry...it supports you....
