membership probably costs extra, park should be good. I'd expect it to open up again sometime in the afternoon.

Does anyone have any photos of the park currently? I'm trying to decide if it's worth the price of a weekend day pass.

The park will be closed today thru sunday. I'm pretty sure that includes sunday.

This is due to the redbull event, we don't know exactly what it will be like but they are hyping it quite a bit. It sounds like it might be pretty cool and a pass for the day + entry is cheaper than usual.

posted on holidayvalleyforums.com:

so to alleviate any confusion about whats goin down this Saturday for

Rhythm Section, here is a schedule.... There will be no exceptions for

'i drove __hrs and missed registration, can't you let me in?' You

wouldn't show up late for registration at the Open, so don't do it

here...

9AM -10AM - Registration, upstairs in the FOXFIRE room, Main Chalet

Riders, Media, Vendors will recieve their packages, tickets, etc

10AM - Course will Open for Practice. The course will not open a minute

before 10AM, as there are so many variables that we need to inspect and

dial in.

10:45 - Riders Meeting, top of the course at the drop in stage

11AM - 12PM - Under 15 Mens Snowboard Jam Session

12:15PM - 1:15PM - Womens Snowboard / Ski Division Jam

1:30PM - 2:30PM - Over 16 Mens Snowboard Jam Session

Final Course Touch Up, Finalists Announced

3PM - the dust clears - Finals

5PM - Awards at Cabana Bar

again registration is $45, inlcudes a lift ticket if you do not have a seasons pass already...

$25 for passholders

Foxfire will be closed starting tomorrow, through Sunday AM.... sorry for the inconvenience.....

Does ANYONE have photos of HV's most current park?

All I keep hearing is that it's good, but not photographic proof.

What the fuck yo, the one time I hook up with a bus trip to check out the Valley for the first time, the park is closed for a competition? FUCK!

they briefly showed the park on the news and the setup for the comp today looked very nice... i hope they leave it up

So, I went yesterday and had a blast. Conditions were great. People were great. Moonshadow was my favorite run, nice big rollers with tons of snow around them.

The rail fun park was ok, good to learn on, easy to hike back up on. The main jump was a little sketchy but I got used to it.

Not many progressive skiers there though... i only saw a handful of peeps with twins.. ahh well

I'll definitely go there again.

hmm, not sure what that means. I'm just trying to get some info out as I feel the valley does a terrible job at it.

Was anybody in the comp today? I did not ski it but it looked sick for sure. I doubt they will leave it up but I have one thread of hope left that they might.

I took some crappy pictures of todays course:

If Holiday takes down that setup, management is even more incompetant than I previously though.

Setup looks sick, and by far one of the best HV has ever had and it would be ridiculous to take down the best thing you've ever made.

it was left up today but I don't know how long it will be around for. so much fun to run through even though I skip most of the rails. This kind of thing takes tons of maintenance obviously because of the number of features but it can also turn shitty real quick since you have to dump speed in the small space between features. I think some stuff will stay but the whole course wouldn't hold up to the bus kids during the week.

Its looking like the halfpipe and snoozer are ready to be sculpted, things are getting good.

The redbull course is still up with the exception of the long flat rail as of tonight. Pretty much bulletproof tonight due to the recent weather but if it softens up its a ton of fun.

yo pow day at the valley yesterday!! haha it snowed all day and there was about 6-8 inches in the woods on either side of ego alley it was pretty sweet for a kinda shitty winter, it was so cold on sun though, anyone else go out?
