Who all is heading up for it this year. Last year it was fucking awesome. Certainly not a day to miss if you have never been to it.

im not sure, but late this week and into the weekend the high is like 75degrees so i dont know how much longer the normal slopes will last
 
I hear until the 3rd of April.

I'm headed up wednesday so i should have more info then. They have more snow than last year. When they plow that pipe it should be primeeeeeeeeee!
 
Jea! The hip last year and that tiny jump line made from the right wall was mad fun. Plus the still open kickers and all the great rails and boxes
 
could someone give me some info on the spring session..i know it on april 10th but thats about all i could get off the website...like how much is it?..is it hike only?...i just wanna know this stuff before i drive 4 hours and is it worth the 4 hour drive for it?
 
it's pretty much all day on the 10th. its free, and hike only. is it worth a 4 hour drive? it depends how desperate you are to ski...
 
I think they charged $5 two years ago but last season it was free. It is hike only. Most stuff is on the lower part of the hiil. Still too many variables and unknowns to guess what they will do but the setup last year was awesome. They knocked the whole pipe down to form a big hip and a line of 3 or 4 small jumps. They had a bunch of rails and different stuff all moved to the bottom of the hill and a good sized jump higher up. They also left everything for weeks after the actual event and stuff was still good for a while
 
El park man on the board in the black suit told said he wants to split the skiers left side wall of the pipe into a two jump line with hips on both sides of both jumps.

Does that make sense? I want some more damn info on this other than that haha. I'm checking the HV forums daily for info.

Yeah that makes sense. Last year they took out the skiers right wall and made it into a 3 jump like. The front of the skiers left pipe wall was made into a large hip. And on top of the skiers left were some rails and stuff that were kinda sketch because if you came off you fell down the remaining walls haha. But it was still sweet
 
Yeah that 3 pipe flat bar sucked up there. I was scared as fuck to hit it. So high off the ground with almost no take off onto the rail. ehhhhhh

This is STARTING AT 11am BTW!!!!!!!!!
 
yeah cause you slayed the shit out of it. That thing would of made a mockery out of me. I think you were one of like 5 people that hit it an you were making it your beotch.
 
the hip/jump was soo nice kids throwin down everywhere, its stupid that special blend wasnt giving anything out to skiers
 
weak didnt know there were hotdogs, main reason i left at 2:30, was starving :(

trey was awesome sending the hip as a table
 
great time this weekend. I went for the hip as a table on Sunday, cleared it but hit it like a gaper and the result was 15 stitches in my arm.
 
the hip was soo nice as a table (if you cleared it haha) me n colton were the last ones hitting it on saturday n it was on of the best jumps ive hit at the valley
