hey their website says that the moonshadow park is open.. im just wonderin if anyone has checked it out.. if so how is it??

hers the deal with holiday... Alot of trails are open... including the trails that the park is on... though there are no features up excpet for in the rail fun park... which is alright but nothing great....

10 ft flat rail

small rainbow rail

super wide box.

flat box drop off to another flat box

and a rainbow box to whale tail out..(painfull)

Hope this helps

um theres "fiddlers elbow" i guess its new this year i dont know anything about it does anyone else??

the fiddlers elbow park is pretty nice, but the jumps are still small cause of all the rain and no sno lately

fiddlers elbow is open with a bunch of rails and boxes, and two weak ass jumps, but the rails are decent, the run ups for the first two are really bad though, its way to flat, but thats it for parks, that and the rail park

Yea, that stupid rainbow bow to whale tail led to a nice titanium screw in my wrist...careful on that guy

holiday valley is opening their pipe and snoozer(bigger) park this weekend, there is a snowboard comp in both, but that means good pipe/park conditions, ill be there

holiday valley has all there parks opened now. i just came from there and ski there like every day. fiddlers elbow has rails and boxes and two small tables. the rail park is open. moonshadow has two new jumps which both have pretty big lips but are only 35-40 feet long and snoozer is like a boarder cross course. the halpipe is still closed.

the pipe is open!!! the walls arent all that big but are still lots of fun. It was really good a few days ago when it warmed up and wasnt really icy. Best pipe in the area.

Holiday Valley is at its peak now. The parks are all in good shape. New a-frame box on fiddlers, big booter on snoozer. Rainbow rail, long flat down box and down rail on Snoozer. And a quarter pipe at the bottom of snoozer. The pipe is also in great shape.

Holiday Valley locals, congrats on having a nice park. I just took a weekend trip there and I had a ton of fun. Thanks for making it legit! I esp. liked Fiddlers Elbow or whatever. Cool.

I took a look at it a few times...I am from Indiana so pipe is a mystery to me. I really had no idea what to expect, but I was impressed overall with the amount of runs you guys had and the quality of the snow...was anybody out there this past weekend?

i was there. all day saturday and all day sunday. and i was there yesteday and im going there again today and probably even again tomorrow. i usually go there about 5 times a week. lots of fun

I might be going this weekend, if there's any snow left. Supposed to get up to 60 and rain. This is the final stretch, guys.

Winter carnival, right? Anything exciting?

there will still be snow and a park for this weekend even if it is 60 degrees. they have enough snow and i see we might even get some more natural next week. i think plans are to build a quarter pipe at the bottom of yodeler after mardi gras again this year. might even be bigger than last years.

i cant wait to hit it up sunday, i havent gotten to there in like 2 weeks, i hope its gotten better

me too, and i hit mount snow last weekend, so my expectations could be let down, are they going to cut the pipe before the weekend, so its half-decent?

pipe was cut this morning. was in great shape today. there is a huge table on snoozer that is lots of fun. pipe might be cut again before the weekend but its hard with the warm temperatures that are expected. huuuuuggeee quarterpipe will open at the bottom of yodeler monday. 18-20 feet high.

there was going to be a rail jam on sunday but now im not sure if its gonna happen because its supposed to rain sunday. saturday is supposed to be a great day thou. sunny and 50 degrees. there is also a skier/boarder cross sunday.

but to ski the quarterpipe you gotta be good. no gapers are gonna be allowed to ski that thing. and its only opened til like 4 so the bus kids cant ride it. holiday valley is planning on making snow this week as temps permit.

sweet no bus kids, i got run over in the pipe by a gaper the other day cause he dropped right after me and i tried to allyoop with a grab for the first time, long story short, i fall he falls on me, i leave in shame

it will be opened the rest of the season...as long as there is still snow which is pretty hard to come by right now..i just got home from the valley and its gettin pretty bare and icy
