Get it on the calender guys! should be a good time.

It'd be awesome to get a good turn out for skiiers that way we can try and get an even better course/prizes and all that good stuff for the years following!

I'll be there. should be a fun time.

seriosly, more people the better this event could be. this is the only slopestyle going through the actual park this year so we gotta prove to them that its worth doing it that way instead of 1 hit in the base area....

this event isn't technically being put on by stevens but I'm pretty sure the am prizes is just a buncha schwag and whatnot.

A bit steep of a price makes it possible for cash prizes and good schwag.

look at events like the US Open or VTO (when they had it) those events cost $150-300 ish.

The event for ams will be held on the upper park. For the open category they will have a few rails into the big jump line.

im thinking i may do this....anyone have anymore info....is it a pro division or open division and is am under 18 only?

Also any more info on the setup?

yea i think 18 and older has to do AM...if thats what may turn you away from doing the comp, i'm sure you can work something out to compete in am though

they should have a squaredancing competition for the gaper division, straw hat for 1st, just to live up to the name.

I think I will still do it...probably not do very well but o well...I wanted it to be through pro-line so I was contemplating it anyway

pros will start at the top of the park and hit four rails you will only score on the rails, then run down proline and end at the big jump next to the pipe, every one else is just running the top section

no, I think AM's use the smaller jumps in the top section of the park, with some choices of rails too, but the pros will just use the rails.

hmmmmmm......i am know thinking that i should have kept my opinions to myself..

i will just have to decide when i get there

my guess is 60 feet, its not that huge.

I'm going to the doctor tomorrow to see what i've done to myself

Pro Results

1. Coby Trudell

2. Kohl Schoening

3. Kevy Simmons

Best Trick: Derek Spong

Sorry I don't have the Am results but all results/scores? should be posted on www.ridestevenspass.com soon!

LIke dspong spinning both ways, multiple nines, and not placing?

No head judge to go through and make sure all the scores were legit, but rather just turned in and the checks were written. No review or anything?

I wasn't there but heard from a pretty credible source that the system used for judging was pretty bunk, and that both showernig and spong should have placed.

Props to the other kids though, they obviously skied well.
