Hoedown Throwdown 2010!

mmm I couldnt see the small jumps, but on the actual jumps there was a select few who spun both ways. Only one kid on the podium even attempted to grab his skis... That got overlooked. I also saw a lot of "landed" backslap/buttcheck tricks too.

Just need more (ski specific) judges, like at least one on each feature. If there was less features that would become possible. If that happened the event would be really legit. For what it was, and the amount of time and money everyone put in, the event was really sick. I had a lot of fun.

 
yes. Sounds like the judging was a little whack. Joey definitely got the bad end of the stick on that one, he threw down a sick run spinning both ways, grabbing and throwing a urban 2 on.

But the event was sick, and the whole weekend was great weather and great fun. I had a blast and will be up there again next year!
 
quote of the day from the announcer guy "and a nice 540 with a....uhmm skier grab i dont know what it called" im pretty sure even some snowboarders told him it was a mnute grab. still funny though
