We would of been better off not doing anything at all. It's not I'm extremely upset about losing Huet, it's that I feel we should of gotten a lot more in return than a 2009 draft pick.

At that price (no pun intended), it would have been smarter to simply keep him for the playoffs and let him go during free agency.

I'm fairly certain Gainey must have done a lot to try and get Hossa; Pittsburg certainly gave away a lot of youth to get him.
 
habs are always inactive with this type of shit, when was the last time we signed a quality forward besides kovy, who was actively dominating the league like hossa........this sucks....huet trade was garbage also
 
Ha! If they hand out any swag that's at all tossible, I would hope for a nice game delay with the zamboni having to clear the ice
