Anybody think that Colorado should make playoff? They made it last year missing Symth, Sakic, Statsny, and Svotos each for at least 25 games. Isn't a healthy Avs at least a six seed in the west?
 
without so many injuries last year, they would have gone really far.

the fact that sakic is playing one more season will help them a ton, and if they stay injury free, they should make playoffs no problem

 
i love hockey but im such a noob compared to talking about sayyyyy football, i think hockey is one of the most fun sports out there to play though for sure.

Oh wait, they are going to be god awful this year
But i'm still rooting for them this year. I would honestly rather them suck for the next year or two, rebuild properly, and get back to form and make a serious run for the cup - not barely make the playoffs and get knocked off in the first round, but actually build there team to be a favorite for the cup. I will gladly sit around for the nxt two seasons or even three to see them actually do something in the future
 
I will always root for Buffalo, even if we havent won the damn cup ever lol. Both my parents grew up there and I ride Line skis so I kinda have to lol. LETS GO BUFFALO!!!
 
Go wings. I live 15 minutes away from Calgary, so when i wore my Wings jersey to school i got some really hurtful things said my way. Thank goodness the Flames are getting spanked or i would never hear the end of it.
 
they should put themselves in a position to get tavares although we might all be speaking too soon since the leafs beat detroit tonight...
