This is the dumbest fucking article I've ever had the displeasure of reading. Ken Dryden is great, but come on you were literally in the show you should know better than this. Forwards, goalies, and the game as a whole have evolved along with each other. Look at how teams move the puck now, how they skate, and how fucking sick their stick handling is. And saying goalies don't have to get off their knees at all anymore is fucking ignorant. I really expected better from a hof goalie but that was too much to ask for.

I looked at the title read the first paragraph and I'm fucking done.
Being a goalie in hockey is probably the hardest position in sports aside from being a QB. You're constantly fighting to keep your crease. You got your team and the other team constantly banging you. You're trying to stop something that's 3 inches in Diameter that can be going 100 MPH. You're squatting the whole fucking game. You're constantly needing to rehydrate to keep from sweating to death. If you give up a soft goal you feel like shit. COMEON NOW

I am having so much fun making fun of my love interest who is a ranger fan. They got so hot toward the end of last season and got the first overall pick and they suck this year. As a diehard isles fan I like nothing more than seeing the RAGS suck. It's just so fun to bust her ovaries.

I'm biased because I don't like the rangers. I just could never be a fan of a team that prices their tickets at such insane prices. I guess thats why I'm a Mets fan too.

yeah, its a bummer that the prices are high. the only way i could ever go to games was if my dad got tickets through work (as mentioned before) but he mainly used them for his clients, obviously. as much as it sucks, there's just always going to be that demands. would be silly for msg not to capitalize on it

I mean having an arena in the middle of NYC is badass. I'm jealous of that, but because of it they literally charge you a mortgage payment for a ticket on a fucking Tuesday against a team like the flames. It's insane.
On a side note it will be nice to see fans back in the stands.... albeit only 10% capacity.

Haha don't take it personally man. I'm jealous of the garden but not of the prices. I enjoyed going to the garden on free tickets. It really is the most famous arena in the world. I'm excited for the new UBS arena for the Isles. I wish it was closer to me but I'll surely make it out there for some games. It's so strange. I haven't been to NYC since Covid. I used to be in the city at minimum once a month. Love the 45 min train ride from Stamford.
