On paper they're the best team, but it's still a toss up for who will actually win the division. And obviously that won't be the sens

I have to say the Avs are pretty damn good. I was disappointed they didn't go farther last year, but hopefully they'll do better this year

yeah we just had bad luck last year imo. hard to win with both starting goalies plus some important depth guys out with injuries

hopefully this year nobody gets hurt. that week or so of the regular season where the whole roster was healthy was super fun to watch

Yeah I remember Rantanen was out for a lot of the season. Cale Makar is by far my favorite player in the league to watch right now.

He's an animal. I like watching the AV's. The 90's brawls between the wings and Av's is some of the best rivalry of any sport period.

Hoping Brock Nelson and Anthony Beuvillier have break out seasons with the Isles this year.

From what I remember from playoffs last season I really liked watching Eberle. And of course avs legend Varlamov ;)

B’s fan here. Hate seeing Chara go but like Brady I think it was time. Should be an interesting season, plenty of young talent.

I know the Blackhawks aren't very good, but Tampa Bay put on a clinic last night. Tampa Bay is a scary good team still

dub post but I think its also the TV/Stream broadcast for the game. Ive noticed this anytime ive watched a stream of an Avs game and it always seems like the colors are popping

and yeah, Detroits been in a bit of a re-calibration stage with bad contracts coming off the books, cap space free'ing up, and some good drafting/prospect moves, so i think this year might be the year that they'll start gaining some traction and find a good style of hockey to play. Not expecting playoffs but at least something like more than 14 wins lol
 
Went to the old Joe Louis arena a few times back in the day visiting my fam in Detroit. Almost as bad as the Nassau Coliseum =) Now we both have new stadiums.

The Bruins are back baby! Big power play goal by Marchy to put them up 1-0 against New Jersey. They're looking surprisingly good right now for this early on, but it's still sad to see the absence of Krug and Chara on the blue line.

last I heard, hes still in the KHL and most recently, he was hanging out with some crazy orthodox priest or something that was a bit kooky, but idk. Pasha is thoroughly enjoying being back in Russia lol. I think he was always going to go back home to play. Still my favorite wings player along with lidstrom

Also shouts out Bobby Ryan. Thats also a cool story, and the wings are looking pretty fun rn. Kinda stoked

Real sad about the Nuck's rn. After a great playoffs, really just such a shame.

Feeling for Pettersson rn, man is an elite talent and just can't a) a get a lucky break, b) hit that stride that he was on last year.

Such a weird time for the Canucks. Also Myers hit was dirty, he got off lucky. Honestly he costs this team so much with his undisciplined play and leaky D play. Not to many other options though. Hoping they can work out their internal affairs.
 
It’s almost odd how even Canadian broadcasters don’t seem to like the ‘nucks. I recognize that the team has had a brutal start but man the media says 0 good things about them.

Tuuka Rask is not human. At all. He stood on his head today second period onward after the Bruins completely broke down. The were completely outplayed by the pens and really never came back. The only reason they won was because off that lucky 2-on-0 after Rask saved their asses on the 3-on-0. Kind of disappointed in the Bruins right now, and they're definitely skating tomorrow.

On a different note, the Avs are fucking phenomenal and beat the living shit out of the sharks tonight. They're such a fun team to watch and I'd be surprised if they don't at least make it to the semis this year, if not the cup finals.
 
Saw the highlights of the bruins. Rask is unreal. It looks like i accidently paid for NHL on Ice without meaning to so I'll definitely be watching more AVS games. Fucking islanders let me down again last night.
